EFEKTIVITAS PHET DENGAN METODE INKUIRI TERBIMBING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETRAMPILAN PROSES SAINS PADA MATERI LISTRIK DINAMIS
PHET EFFECTIVENESS WITH GUIDED INQUIRY METHOD TO IMPROVE SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS ON DYNAMIC ELECTRICAL MATERIALS
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, keterampilan proses siswa, dan respon siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode inkuiri terbimbing menggunakan PhET pada materi listrik dinamis. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Pra-Eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest and posttest yang sasaran penelitian yaitu 14 siswa kelas IX-B SMP Jati Agung Waru. Data yang diperoleh dengan metode observasi, tes, dan angket kemudian dianalisis secara deskripsi kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan persentase keterlaksaan pembelajaran sebesar 96,22 selama 2 pertemuan dikatakan kategori sangat baik dan sangat praktis yaitu mendapatkan lebih dari 90%. Ketrampilan proses sains mendapatkan total N-Gain sebesar 0,82 yang berkategori tinggi dan efektif mengalami peningkatan. Siswa memberikan respon sebesar 90,15 dikaterogikan sangat baik. Berdasarkan uraian diatas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan metode inkuiri terbimbing yang menggunakan PhET dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains pada materi listrik dinamis.

This research aims to describe three important things in learning, namely implementation of learning, student process skills, and student response after participating in learning with guided inquiry methods using PhET on dynamic electrical materials. This research method uses pre-Experimental with one group pretest and posttest design with research subjects are 14 students of class IX-B Jati Agung Waru Junior High School. Data obtained by observation, tests, and questionnaires method are then analyzed in quantitative descriptions. The results showed that the percentage of learning effectiveness of 96.22 during 2 meetings was said to be an excellent and very practical category that was getting more than 90%. Science process skills gained a total N-Gain of 0.82 which is high in category and effectively having increased. Students responded by 90.15 is categorized as excellent response. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that learning with guided inquiry methods that using PhET can improve the skills of science processes in dynamic electrical materials..
