This study aims to develop a Career Self-Efficacy e-module as a career guidance service medium to enhance the career adaptability of students at SMKS Islam Panggul. The research is based on findings indicating low levels of career adaptability and students’ hesitation in making career decisions, highlighting the need for a systematic and contextual guidance medium. This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) method adapted from the Borg and Gall model, with twelfth-grade students as the research subjects. Data collection instruments include questionnaires, observations, interviews, and expert validation sheets. The results show that the developed e-module is deemed feasible based on validations by subject-matter experts, media experts, and users, and it also receives positive responses from students. These findings indicate that the Career Self-Efficacy e-module can serve as an alternative and effective medium for career guidance services in supporting the improvement of vocational high school students’ career adaptability. The development of the Career Self-Efficacy e-module was carried out systematically through ten stages of the Borg and Gall R&D model. These stages include: (1) needs analysis conducted through observations, interviews, and questionnaire distribution to identify students’ career adaptability issues; (2) planning, which focuses on formulating objectives, mapping content, and designing the e-module; (3) initial product development involving the preparation of e-module content based on the five dimensions of career self-efficacy; (4) preliminary testing through validation by material and media experts to assess content and visual feasibility; (5) initial product revision based on validators’ feedback; (6) field testing aimed at evaluating the initial effectiveness of the e-module; (7) product revision following field trial findings; (8) wider field implementation testing to examine the feasibility and acceptability of the product; (9) final product revision as a refinement process; and (10) dissemination and implementation through socialization and training for guidance and counseling teachers. Overall, these stages demonstrate that the e-module development process was structured, learner-oriented, and resulted in a valid, applicable, and relevant product for career guidance services in vocational high schools.
