The
Gresik Regional Police formed the Gajah Mada program in the form of the Quick
Wins program and the Polri Grand Strategy in order to improve services to the
community so that the image of the National Police as protector, protector and
community service was seen well in the Gresik community. With these superior
programs, it is expected to be able to overcome various problems that arise in
the City of Gresik. The purpose of this study is to describe the evaluation of
the Gresik Polres Gajah Mada program implemented in the Kroman Village, Gresik
District.
The focus of this research is on
evaluating the implementation of the Gajah Mada program through the William
N.Dunn evaluation model including 6 criteria, namely effectiveness, efficiency,
adequacy, leveling, responsiveness and accuracy. This type of research is
descriptive with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study consisted
of the Chief Coordinator of the Gajah Mada team, members of the Gajah Mada
team, Head of Kroman Village, Head of RT 19, Head of RW 02 and Community
Representative in Kroman Village. Data collection techniques used interviews,
observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques performed by data
collection, data reduction and conclusion drawing.
The results of the evaluation
research based on the effectiveness criteria are good enough as evidenced from
the implementation of the visit activities carried out based on the SOP so that
the objectives of the Gajah Mada program are well achieved. In the efficiency
of the implementation of the Gajah Mada program not yet efficient because
spending is greater than the results obtained. The criteria for the adequacy of
the Gajah Mada team are already well evident from the implementation of the
ongoing visit to meet the needs of the community. The leveling criteria in this
program are not good because the visit has not been carried out evenly in
various regions of Gresik Regency and the visit in the Kroman Village only
visited 4 RTs. In the responsiveness criteria the community was very
enthusiastic about the visit by the Gajah Mada team, which made the community
closer to the police. So that the accuracy criteria are considered good because
the Gajah Mada program is a program needed by the community to protect and
serve the community with a system of visits to people's homes.
