Tari Mayang Rontek merupakan tari kreasi baru di Mojokerto yang menggambarkan mengenai arak-arakan atau prosesi pengantin Mojoputri. Tari Mayang Rontek sudah banyak dikenal oleh masyarakat di Mojokerto, tetapi fakta di lapangan, belum keseluruhan masyarakat mengenal Tari Mayang Rontek. Perlunya pengetahuan guna melengkapi referensi tentang Tari Mayang Rontek yang masih sulit ditemukan menjadikan sebuah acuan dalam mengembangkan buku suplemen Tari Mayang Rontek di Mojokerto.
Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini meliputi teori belajar yang dipergunakan dalam buku suplemen, teori belajar kognitif dan behavioristik. Bukan hanya itu, teori tentang Tari Mayang Rontek sebagai data utama penelitian pengembangan, karakteristik siswa SMP juga menjadikan kajian teori pada penelitian ini.
Proses pengembangan buku suplemen Tari Mayang Rontek menggunakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model 4D, namun dimodifikasi hanya sampai tahap 3D tanpa adanya tahap penyebaran. Tahapan-tahapan yang dipergunakan yaitu, define untuk menganalisis masalah di lapangan, design sebagai perancangan produk buku suplemen, dan develop yang merupakan tahap pengembangan buku suplemen. Data dianalisis dalam bentuk kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian pengembangan yang dipilih merupakan penelitian jenis ketiga yaitu mengembangkan produk yang sudah ada.
Kualitas produk buku suplemen didapatkan dari validasi oleh 3 validator ahli.
dapat diketahui bahwa, hasil validator materi 88%. Hasil validasi penyajian dari 96%, kemudian pada ahli validasi bahasa memperoleh presentase 92%. Pada presentase akhir yang didapatkan oleh peneliti diketahui bahwa terdapat peningkatan pada masing-masing validasi dengan kriteria penilaian sangat baik sehingga produk layak untuk dipergunakan.
Kepraktisan buku suplemen Tari Mayang Rontek didapatkan dari hasil respon pengguna yakni guru dan siswa menunjukkan prosentase yang juga pada tahapan layak digunakan. Hasil respon guru mendapatkan 95% pada guru 1 dan 100% pada guru 2, sedangkan pada hasil respon siswa dengan jumlah siswa 29 anak mendapatkan prosentase sebesar 97%. Hal ini bisa diketahui bahwa siswa paham mengenai buku suplemen Tari Mayang Rontek di Mojokerto dan produk layak untuk digunakan.

Mayang Rontek dance is a new dance creation in Mojokerto depicting the procession or procession of the Mojoputri bride. Mayang Rontek dance has been widely known by people in Mojokerto, but the facts on the ground, not all people know about Mayang Rontek Dance. The need for knowledge to complement the references on the Mayang Rontek Dance which is still difficult to find makes a reference in developing the Mayang Rontek Dance supplement book in Mojokerto.
Theories used in this research development include learning theories used in supplementary books, cognitive learning and behavioristic theories. Not only that, the theory of the Mayang Rontek Dance as the main research data of development, the characteristics of junior high school students also makes the study of theory in this study.
The process of developing the Mayang Rontek Dance supplement book uses development research with the 4D model, but is modified only to the 3D stage without any deployment stage. The stages used are, define to analyze problems in the field, design as a supplement book product design, and develop which is the stage of developing a supplement book. Data were analyzed in qualitative and quantitative forms. The chosen development research is the third type of research that is developing existing products.
The quality of supplement book products is obtained from validation by 3 expert validators, it can be seen that, the results of the material validator are 88%. The results of the validation of the presentation of 96%, then the language validation experts get a percentage of 92%. In the final percentage obtained by the researchers it was found that there was an increase in each validation with very good assessment criteria so that the product was suitable for use.
The practicality of the Mayang Rontek Dance supplement book was obtained from the results of the user's response ie the teacher and students showed a percentage that was also at a stage worth using. The results of teacher responses get 95% in teacher 1 and 100% in teacher 2, while the results of student responses with 29 students get a percentage of 97%. It can be seen that students understand about the Mayang Rontek Dance supplement book in Mojokerto and the product is suitable for use.
