Pengembangan E-modul Berbasis Model Learning Cycle Pada Materi Media Komunikasi Humas Kelas XI OTKP
Development of Learning Cycle-Based E-Modules on Public Relations Communication Media Material Class XI
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis proses pengembangan, kelayakan, dan respon siswa terhadap e-modul berbasis model learning cycle pada materi Media Komunikasi Humas kelas XI OTKP 1 di SMKN 2 Buduran Sidoarjo. Model pengembangan menggunakan 4-D (four D model), namun dalam penelitian ini peneliti hanya melakukan hingga pada tahap develop. Subjek penelitiannya adalah kelas XI OTKP 1 sebanyak 20 siswa. Instrumen penelitian adalah lembar validasi dan angket respon siswa. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) pengembangan e-modul berbasis model learning cycle pada materi Media Komunikasi Humas menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D yang memiliki 4 tahapan yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate, namun peneliti hanya melakukan penelitian sampai pada tahap develop disebabkan keterbatasan penelitian; 2) kelayakan e-modul berbasis model learning cycle pada materi Media Komunikasi Humas memperoleh rata-rata hasil persentase ahli materi sebesar 97% dengan kriteria (sangat layak), ahli bahasa sebesar 94,2% (sangat layak), dan ahli kegrafikan sebesar 92% (sangat layak); dan 3) respon siswa terhadap e-modul berbasis model learning cycle pada materi Media Komunikasi Humas sebesar 98,5% (sangat layak) dengan mendapatkan tanggapan baik oleh siswa.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the process of development, feasibility, and student responses to e-modules based on the learning cycle model in the material of Public Relations Communication Media for class XI OTKP 1 at SMKN 2 Buduran Sidoarjo. The development model uses 4-D (four D model), but in this study the researchers only carried out up to the develop stage. The research subject is class XI OTKP 1 with 20 students. The research instruments were validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results of the study show that: 1) the development of e-modules based on the learning cycle model on the material of Public Relations Communication Media uses a 4-D development model which has 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate, but researchers only conduct research up to the develop stage. due to research limitations; 2) the feasibility of e-modules based on the learning cycle model in the Public Relations Communication Media material obtained an average percentage of material experts of 97% with the criteria (very feasible), linguists of 94.2% (very feasible), and graphic experts of 92 % (very decent); and 3) students' responses to e-modules based on the learning cycle model on the material of Public Relations Communication Media were 98.5% (very feasible) by getting good responses from students.
