Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan modul kimia organik dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang berkualitas baik untuk melatihkan kecakapan akademik dan kecakapan vokasional siswa SMK jurusan Kimia Industri kelas X. Kriteria kualitas yang digunakan yaitu valid, praktis, dan efektif. Kriteria validitas modul kimia organik meliputi vaiditas silabu, RPP, modul kimia organik, lembar tes kecakapan akademik, dan lembar pengamatan kecakapan vokasional. Kriteria kepraktisan ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan RPP dan aktivitas siswa selama mengikuti pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Kriteria efektifitas ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa yang meliputi kecakapan akademik dan kecakapan vokasional siswa serta respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development / R&D) dengan uji coba lapangan menggunakan rancangan one group pretest posttest design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMK PGRI 1 Gresik Kelas X KI 1. Instrumen penelitian untuk mengukur validitas modul kimia organik yang dikembangkan meliputi lembar validasi silabus, RPP, modul, tes kecakapan akademik, dan kecakapan vokasional. Instrumen penelitian untuk mengukur kepraktisan modul meliputi lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan RPP dan aktivitas siswa. Instrumen untuk mengukur efektivitas modul kimia organik adalah lembar tes kecakapan akademik (lembar pre-test dan post-test), lembar pengamatan kecakapan vokasional, dan lembar angket respon siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh sebagai berikut: modul kimia organik dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dikatakan valid, keterlaksanaan RPP baik, aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran berbasis proyek sebesar 60-100%, hasil belajar siswa meliputi kecakapan akademik mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata gain score 0,59. Seluruh siswa menguasai kecakapan vokasional dengan skor tertinggi yang didapat adalah 92,31. Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran berbasis proyek ini sebesar 91%. Hambatan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran adalah jumlah alat yang terbatas serta waktu dalam melaksanakan kegiatan percobaan yang kurang.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan modul kimia organik dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada materi pembuatan etanol skala laboratorium efektif untuk melatihkan kecakapan akademik dan kecakapan vokasional siswa SMK

This study aims to produce an organic chemistry module with a good quality project-based learning model to practice academic skills and vocational skills of vocational students majoring in Industrial Chemistry class X. The quality criteria used are valid, practical, and effective. The validity criteria for the organic chemistry module include crystal meteorology, lesson plans, organic chemistry modules, academic skills test sheets, and vocational skills observation sheets. Practical criteria are evaluated from the implementation of lesson plans and student activities during project-based learning. The effectiveness criteria are evaluated from student learning outcomes which include academic skills and vocational skills of students as well as student responses to project-based learning. This type of research is research and development (research and development / R&D) with field trials using one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were students of SMK PGRI 1 Gresik Class X KI 1. The research instrument to measure the validity of the organic chemistry module that was developed included validation sheets of the syllabus, lesson plans, modules, academic skills tests, and vocational skills. Research instruments to measure the practicality of the module include observation sheets of lesson plans and student activities. Instruments to measure the effectiveness of the organic chemistry module are academic skills test sheets (pre-test and post-test sheets), vocational skills observation sheets, and student response questionnaire sheets. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive. The data obtained as follows: organic chemistry module with a project-based learning model is said to be valid, the implementation of lesson plans is good, student activities during the project-based learning process are 60-100%, student learning outcomes include academic skills have increased with an average gain score of 0, 59. All students mastered vocational skills with the highest score obtained was 92.31. Student responses to project-based learning were 91%. Obstacles in carrying out learning activities are a limited number of tools and less time in carrying out experimental activities.
Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the development of organic chemistry modules with project-based learning models on laboratory-scale ethanol making materials is effective for training academic skills and vocational skills of vocational students.
