       Penciptaan ini dilatar belakangi oleh pengalaman penulis dibidang kaligrafi dan lettering serta ketertarikan dengan aksara jawa sebagai huruf asli Jawa. Fokus penciptaan pada karya ini adalah Menjadikan aksara jawa sebagai subject matter dalam penciptaan karya seni lukis. Tujuan penciptaan karya ini adalah mengangkat eksistensi kearifan lokal aksara jawa di era moderen.  

       Metode penciptaan mengacu pada sumber Dharsono Sony Kartika (2016:46), yang diadaptasi menjadi beberapa tahapan penciptaan karya antara lain, inspirasi, eksperimen, perenungan, ide penciptaan, improvisasi, pembentukan, dan penyajian. Tahapan penciptaan karya yaitu, menyiapkan media, membuat background, eksekusi aksara jawa, finishing dan penyajian.

         Penciptaan ini menghasilkan 4 karya, antara lain:“The Deep”, “Bipolar”, “(Alm) Dr. Dody Doerjanto M.Sn.”dan “Chaos II”.

DECONSTRUCTION OF JAVANESE SCRIPTS AS A SUBJECT MATTER IN CREATION OF PAINTING ARTWORKS

    This creation is motivated by the author's experience in the field of calligraphy and lettering and the interest in Javanese script as Javanese original letters. The focus of creation on this work is Making Javanese script as the subject matter in the creation of painting works. The purpose of the creation of this work is to raise the existence of the local wisdom of Javanese script in the modern era.

    The creation method refers to the source of Dharsono Sony Kartika (2016:46), which was adapted into several stages of creation of works, among others, inspiration, experimentation, reflection, ideas of creation, improvisation, formation, and presentation. The stages of creation of works, namely, preparing the media, making background, execution of Javanese script, finishing and presentation.

    This creation produced 4 works, including: "The Deep", "Bipolar", "(late) Dr. Dody Doerjanto M.Sn. "and" Chaos II".
