SEMIOTICS ANALYSIS OF YOUR FEMALE WEBTOON (I'M NOT BEAUTIFUL I DON'T CARE)

Webtoon adalah  komik yang diapload didalam website, sehingga webtoon juga termasuk kedalam bentuk webcomics. Dalam penelitian ini tema webtoon yang diambil adalah tentang perempuan yang merasa insecure atau tidak percaya diri dengan penampilannya. Sehingga penulis mengambil webtoon dengan judul Perempuanmu (Saya Tidak Cantik Saya Tidak Peduli). Yang mengisahkan seorang siswi SMA di Indonesia yang tidak memiliki penampilan menarik menurut standar kecantikan Indonesia. Sehingga ia merasa insecure dan menyakiti diri sendiri.  Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana analisis semiotika webtoon perempuanmu (saya tidak cantik saya tidak peduli). Dan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui analisis semiotika webtoon ini dengan menganalisis interpretant, objek serta Representement dan untuk mengetahui Tindakan komunikatif dari webtoon perempuanmu (saya tidak cantik saya tidak peduli). Hasil  dari penelitian ini adalah dengan menganalisis  adegan dalam webtoon  dengan teori semiotika dari Charles Sanders Peirce menggunakan triangle meaning. Dan Tindakan komunikatif  yang ingin disanpaikan penulis adalah menerima diri sendiri apa adanya serta tidak egois. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah lingkuangan dan media sangat berpengaruh pada kehidupan dan pola pikir seseorang. Dimana seseorang bisa terobsesi dengan kecantikan karena media. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah menyediakan ruang lebih untuk sosialisasi di media  dari pihak terkait bahwa perempuan yang memiliki penampilan biasa saja atau bahkan tidak  menarik juga berhak untuk dicintai dan dihargai.

Webtoons are comics that are uploaded on websites, so webtoons are also included in the form of webcomics. In this research, the theme of the webtoon is about women who feel insecure or insecure about their appearance. So the writer took a webtoon with the title Your Girl (I'm Not Beautiful, I Don't Care). Which tells of a high school student in Indonesia who does not have an attractive appearance according to Indonesian beauty standards. So he feels insecure and hurts himself. The formulation of the research problem is to find out how the semiotic analysis of your female webtoon (I'm not pretty, I don't care). And the purpose of this study is to find out the semiotic analysis of your female webtoon (I'm not pretty, I don't care) by analyzing interpretants, objects and representations and to find out the communicative actions of your female webtoon (I'm not pretty, I don't care). The result of this study is to analyze the scenes in the webtoon with Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic theory using triangle meaning. And the communicative action that the author wants to convey is to accept yourself as you are and not be selfish. The conclusion of this study is that the environment and the media are very influential in a person's life and mindset. Where a person can be obsessed with beauty because of the media. The suggestion from this research is to provide more space for socialization in the media from related parties that women who have an ordinary or even unattractive appearance also have the right to be loved and appreciated.
