Kurikulum 2013 dikembangkan atas pemikiran tantangan abad 21 yang menuntut peserta didik dalam menghadi persaingan global dengan cara meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif. Tuntutan tersebut diwujudkan melalui kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan yang dijadikan landasan dirumuskannya tujuan pembelajaran. Kompetensi keterampilan pada materi sistem imun adalah melakukan kampanye tentang pentingnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam program kesehatan dan imunisasi serta kelainan dalam sistem imun. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa e-book tipe flipbook pada materi sistem imun serta mendeskripsikan validitas e-book berdasarkan ciri spesifik dan konten ilustrasi berkaitan dengan hasil keterbacaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ASSURE. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan September 2018 sampai Juli 2019 di Jurusan Biologi Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Validitas e-book berdasarkan ciri spesifik menunjukkan skor rata-rata 4 dengan kategori sangat valid ditinjau dari komponen kelayakan isi, kelayakan penyajian, dan kelayakan kebahasaan. Validitas e-book berdasarkan konten ilustrasi menunjukkan skor rata-rata 3,89 dengan kategori sangat valid ditinjau dari perbandingan ilustrasi pada e-book dengan deskripsi konten. Hasil uji keterbacaan menggunakan grafik Fry menunjukkan e-book sesuai digunakan peserta didik tingkat SMA.
The 2013 curriculum was developed based on 21st century challenges that require students to enter into global competition by increasing their ability to think critically and creatively. These demands are realized through the attitudes, knowledge and skills competencies that are the basis for formulating learning objectives. Skills competence in the immune system material is conducting campaigns about the importance of community participation in health and immunization programs and abnormalities in the immune system. Based on this, a study was conducted aimed at producing learning media in the form of flipbook type e-book on immune system material and describing the validity of e-book based on specific characteristics and illustrative content related to the readability results. This study uses the ASSURE development model. The study was conducted during September 2018 until July 2019 in the Department of Biology, Surabaya State University. The validity of e-book based on specific characteristics shows an average score of 4 with a very valid category in terms of the content eligibility component, the feasibility of the presentation, and the feasibility of the language. The validity of e-book based on illustrated content shows an average score of 3.89 with a very valid category in terms of the comparison of illustrations on e-book with content descriptions. Readability test results using Fry graphs indicate e-book are suitable for use by high school students.
