Teknologi pada dunia pendidikan jika tidak digunakan dengan baik dampaknya salah satunya bisa siswa terpengaruhi oleh budaya negara lain sehingga siswa kurang mengenal ciri khas budaya lokal. peneliti ingin melestarikan budaya lokal dengan mengenalkan kembali melalui pembelajaran seni lukis disekolah, Peneliti memilih media tampah anyam bambu sebagai media edukasi berkarya seni lukis di sekolah karena tampah anyam bambu jarang digunakan sebagai media lukis, Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, masalah yang diangkat adalah bagaimana proses, hasil, dan tanggapan guru, siswa kelas XI di SMAN 02 Bangkalan pada pembelajaran seni rupa mengenai melukis dengan media tampah anyam bambu. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses, hasil, dan tanggapan guru, siswa kelas XI di SMAN 02 Bangkalan pada pembelajaran seni rupa mengenai melukis dengan media tampah anyam bambu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, pengambilan data didapatkan dari hasil observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi foto dan dilakukan analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan uji keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian melukis dengan media tampah anyam bambu dari siswa kelas XI SMAN 02 Bangkalan, dapat disimpulkan siswa bisa mempraktikkan dengan baik, sesuai kriteria, dan menambah pengalaman baru, mengembangkan kreatifitas, menambah potensi keterampilanserta menumbuhkan antusias dalam minat belajar siswa.

Technology on education life must be used properly, otherwise students will be distracted by the culture of others country, in result the students will have less ability in recognizing thei own culture. The purpose of the researcher is be inclined to conserve the local culture by introducing tampah anyam bamboo as media education, especially on painting in art subject, at Senior High School 2 Bangkalan. The researcher choose this media because it is a rare thing to use as a painting media. Based on that background of study, there are several things that the researcher take as the problems of the study. They are how the rocess, what the result, and what the teacher’s response toward the learning process of using tampah anyam bamboo as painting media on the art class in XI grade Senior High School 2 Bangkalan. The purpose of this study is to describe the process , show the results, and show the teacher’s response on the learning process using tampah anyam bambooas painting media. Research method that the researcher use in theis study is qualitative descriptive, the data is collected by the observation result, interview, questionnaire, and the picture of student’s handiwork. Next, the data is analyzed by the technique of data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing and verification. The result 0f painting by using tampah anyam bamboo on the art class in XI grade Senior High School 2 Bangkalan is students can pain well on the media, accorddingly criteria, gan new experience, develope their creativity, and enlarge their enthusiasm on art.
