DEVELOPMENT OF INTERACTIVE LEARNING MULTIMEDIA OF NEURAL SYSTEM MATERIAL TO INCREASE STUDENTS LEARNING OUTCOMES FOR GRADE 11 OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi perlu dimanfaatkan secara optimal dalam bidang pendidikan untuk memudahkan proses pembelajaran. Peserta didik merasa bosan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang kurang inovatif. Materi sistem saraf merupakan materi yang dianggap sulit oleh peserta didik dikarenakan terdapat istilah-istilah yang sulit dipahami. Akibatnya hasil belajar peserta didik cenderung rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif materi sistem saraf untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik yang layak berdasarkan validitas, kepraktisan, dam keefektifan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation) dan diujicobakan terbatas kepada 20 peserta didik SMAN 15 Surabaya. Validitas multimedia ditentukan berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru Biologi. Kepraktisan multimedia ditentukan berdasarkan respon positif peserta didik. Keefektifan multimedia ditentukan berdasarkan ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik, ketuntasan tujuan pembelajaran, dan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran interaktif materi sistem saraf dinyatakan sangat valid dengan skor 3,81. Multimedia pembelajaran interaktif materi sistem saraf juga dinyatakan sangat praktis berdasarkan respon positif peserta didik sebesar 94%. Multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dinyatakan efektif berdasarkan ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 85%, adanya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik berdasarkan uji n-gain sebesar 0,77 dengan kategori tinggi, dan ketuntasan tujuan pembelajaran sebesar 86%. Berdasarkan validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran interaktif materi sistem saraf untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik layak digunakan.

The development of information and communication technology needs to be optimally utilized in the field of education to facilitate learning process. Students are bored using less innovative learning media. The neural system is a subject matter that is considered difficult to be understood by students because there are difficult terms. As a result, students’ learning outcomes are low. The purpose of this research was to produce a interactive learning multimedia of neural system material to increase students’ learning outcomes based on its validity, practically, and effectiveness. This research used the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) and the trial was limited to 20 students at SMAN 15 Surabaya. The validity of multimedia was determined based on the validation results of material and media experts, and a Biology teacher. The practicality was determined based on positive student responses. The effectiveness was determined based on completeness of students’ learning outcomes, increasing of students’ learning outcomes, and completeness of learning objectives. The result showed that the interactive learning multimedia of neural system material was very valid with an average score of 3,81. Interactive learning multimedia was also very practical in terms of positive student responses that reached 94%. This interactive learning multimedia was stated to be effective based on the completeness of students’ learning outcomes of 85%, an increase of students’ learning outcomes based on a n-gain test result at 0,77 with a high category, and the completeness of learning objectives of 86%. Based on the results of its validity, practically, and effectiveness, it can be concluded that the interactive learning multimedia of neural system material to increasing learning outcomes is feasible to be used.
