PENCIPTAAN MOTIF DENGAN SUMBER IDE ORNAMEN SLIMPET RUMAH ADAT SUKU OSING PADA BUSANA READY TO WEAR DELUXE

 CREATING MOTIFS INSPIRED BY THE SLIMPET OENAMENTATION OF THE TRADITIONAL OSING THRIBE HOUSE FOR READY TO WEAR DELUXE FASHION

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian penciptaan dengan tujuan  : (1) Mendeskripsikan konsep penciptaan motif dengan sumber ide ornamen slimpet rumah adat suku Osing pada busana ready to wear deluxe, (2) Mendeskripsikan proses penciptaan motif dengan sumber ide ornamen slimpet rumah adat suku Osing pada busana ready to wear deluxe, (3) Mendeskripsikan hasil jadi penciptaan motif dengan sumber ide ornamen slimpet rumah adat suku Osing pada busana ready to wear deluxe, dan (4) Mendeskripsikan penyajian penciptaan motif dengan sumber ide ornamen slimpet rumah adat suku Osing pada busana ready to wear deluxe.

Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penciptaan karya teori Hendriyana (2022) yang melalui 4 tahap yaitu tahap eksplorasi atau pra-perancangan, perancangan karya, perwujudan karya, dan penyajian atau desiminasi karya. Hasil karya busana yang telah diciptakan ada 3 busana, yaitu 1 busana pria dan 2 busana wanita dengan menerapkan inspirasi motif slimpet pada ketiga busana tersebut. Busana yang diciptakan di pamerkan pada acara annual fashion show “JAGAD OSING” 2024 dan mendapatkan apresiasi menjadi best of the best.

This research is a creative study with the following objectives: (1) To describe the concept of motif creation inspired by the slimpet ornamentation of the traditional Osing tribe house in deluxe ready-to-wear fashion, (2) To describe the process of creating motifs based on the slimpet ornamentation of the traditional Osing tribe house for deluxe ready-to-wear fashion, (3) To describe the final outcomes of motif creation inspired by the slimpet ornamentation of the traditional Osing tribe house in deluxe ready-to-wear fashion, and (4) To describe the presentation of motif creation inspired by the slimpet ornamentation of the traditional Osing tribe house in deluxe ready-to-wear fashion.

The method used is the creation method based on Hendriyana's theory (2022), which consists of four stages: exploration or pre-design, design creation, realization of the work, and presentation or dissemination of the work. The resulting fashion pieces include three garments—one for men and two for women—each incorporating the slimpet motif as inspiration. The created garments were showcased at the annual fashion show ‘JAGAD OSING’ 2024 and received recognition as the best of the best.
