The Development of Interactive Media Mijiwa The Students ability to Write Javanese Alphabets for the Seventh Grade Students of Junior High School 10 Madiun
Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan media interaktif Mijiwa (Multimedia Interaktif Aksara Jawa berbasis Web) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis aksara Jawa siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Madiun, (2) mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Madiun setelah menggunakan media interaktif Mijiwa, (3) mendeskripsikan kepraktisan media interaktif Mijiwa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis aksara Jawa siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Madiun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan terhadap 28 siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Madiun. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi lembar validasi, lembar tes, dan angket respon siswa terhadap media interaktif Mijiwa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media interaktif Mijiwa dinyatakan sangat valid atau layak digunakan dengan hasil perhitungan ahli materi 91,51%, ahli media 95,15% sehingga diperoleh rata-rata 93.33%. Hasil belajar setelah menggunakan media interaktif Mijiwa mencapai kategori sangat tuntas dengan nilai 92,85%. Selain itu, hasil penilaian kemampuan menulis aksara Jawa juga didasarkan pada tida komponen keterampilan menulis, yaitu: ortografi, struktur, dan kelancaran yang memperoleh persentase ketercapaian sebesar 88,68% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil respon siswa menunjukkan bahwa media interaktif Mijiwa memiliki tingkat kepraktisan sebesar 99.70% sehingga dapat dikategorikan sangat baik. Hal ini menandakan bahwa media interaktif Mijiwa menarik, mudah digunakan, dan mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar menulis aksara Jawa. Dengan demikian, media interaktif Mijiwa dinilai sangat layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran aksara Jawa, baik di SMP Negeri 10 Madiun maupun di sekolah lain pada umumnya.
The aims of the research are to (1) describe the process of the development of interactive media Mijiwa (Multimedia InteraktifAksaraJawaberbasis Web) to improve the students’ ability to write Javanese alphabets for the seventh grade students of Junior High School 10 Madiun, (2) to describe the learning achievement of the seventh grade students of Junior High School 10 Madiun after using interactive media Mijiwa, (3) to describe the practical of the interactive media Mijiwa to improve the students’ ability to write Javanese alphabets for the seventh grade students of Junior High School 10 Madiun. This research used quantitative descriptive approach with the development model ADDIE consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The trial was limited to only 28 students of seventh grade Junior High School 10 Madiun. The instruments of the research were validation sheet, test, and questionnaire of the students’ responses to the interactive media Mijiwa.The result of the research showed that the interactive media Mijiwa stated very valid to be used with the result of the calculation of material expert 91,51%, media expert 95,15% so it was obtained the average 93.33%. The learning achievement after using the interactive media Mijiwa reached the category very accomplished with the score 92,85%. Besides, the result of the students’ learning achievement of writing Javanese alphabets based on the three writing skill components, orthography, structure, and fluency reached achievement percentage 88,68% with the category very good. The result of the students’ responses showed that interactive media Mijiwa had the level of practical 99.70% so it can be categorized very good..It indicated that interactive media Mijiwa interesting, easy to use and able to improve the motivation of the students to learn how to write Javanese alphabets. So, the interactive media Mijiwa is assessed very worthy and effective to be used in learning Javanese alphabets, either at Junior High School 10 Madiun or other schools.
