Penerapan Teknik Assertive Training Untuk Meningkatkan Self Esteem Pada Siswa Korban Bullying Kelas VII Sekolah Menengah Pertama

Dalam proses interaksi dengan teman sebaya, bullying seringkali terjadi di sekolah. Siswa yang menjadi korban bullying cenderung sulit berinteraksi dan menarik diri dari lingkungan bahkan sulit menerima diri sendiri sehingga memiliki self esteem yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui teknik assertive training untuk meningkatkan self esteem siswa korban bullying kelas VII Sekolah Menengah Pertama dan untuk mengetahui keefektifan teknik assertive training untuk meningkatkan self esteem pada siswa korban bullying kelas VII Sekolah Menengah Pertama.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre-eksperimen yang menggunakan metode one group pre-test post-test design. Adapun metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang terdiri dari angket korban bullying dan angket self esteem. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistic non parametric dengan Uji Wilcoxon yang dibantu menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 26. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 6 siswa korban bullying kelas VII yang memiliki self esteem rendah. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon (Asymp. Sig. 2-tailed) yang diperoleh p-value senilai 0,026 < 0,05 maka kurang dari batas krisis penelitian, sehingga dapat diputuskan bahwa Ha diterima.
Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan self esteem siswa korban bullying di Sekolah Menengah Pertama setelah diberikan konseling kelompok teknik assertive training dan teknik assertive training efektif untuk meningkatkan self esteem siswa korban bullying. Diharapkan peneliti selanjutnya bisa memperhatikan tempat dan suasana dalam pemberian konseling, dan diharapkan peneliti bisa memperdalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik konseling maupun menambahkan variabel dan kasus yang lain.

In the process of interaction with peers, bullying often occurs at school. Students who are victims of bullying tend to have difficulty interacting and withdrawing from the environment and even have difficulty accepting themselves so that they have low self-esteem. This study aims to determine assertive training techniques to increase the self-esteem of students who are victims of bullying in class VII junior high school and to determine the effectiveness of increasing self-esteem in students who are victims of bullying in class VII junior high school.
This research is a quantitative research with the type of pre-experimental research using the one group pre-test post-test design method. The data collection method uses a questionnaire which consists of a questionnaire for bullying victims and a self-esteem questionnaire. The data analysis technique used non-parametric statistics with the Wilcoxon Test which was assisted by using the SPSS version 26 application. The research subjects were 6 students who were victims of class VII bullying who had low self-esteem. Data analysis technique using the Wilcoxon test (Asymp. Sig. 2-tailed) obtained a p-value of 0.026 <0.05, which means it is less than the research crisis limit, so it can be decided that Ha is accepted.
Based on these results it can be concluded that there is an increase in the self-esteem of students who are victims of bullying in junior high schools after being given group counseling with assertive training techniques and assertive training techniques are effective in increasing the self-esteem of students who are victims of bullying. It is hoped that further researchers can pay attention to the place and atmosphere in providing counseling, and it is hoped that researchers can deepen this research by using counseling techniques or adding other variables and cases.
