EFEKTIVITAS HANDOUT PERSIAPAN PEMBUATAN BUSANA PADA SISWA FASE F SMK NEGERI 1 JATIREJO

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF CLOTHES MAKING PREPARATION HANDOUTS FOR STUDENTS OF PHASE F STATE VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL 1 JATIREJO

Kebijakan pemerintah mengubah Kurikulum 2013 menjadi kurikulum Merdeka menjadikan siswa SMK dituntut untuk dapat lebih kompeten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran handout pada elemen persiapan pembuatan busana dan (2) menganalisis tingkat efektivitas penerapan media pembelajaran handout elemen persiapan pembuatan busana pada siswa fase F di SMK Negeri 1 Jatirejo.

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan desain True Experimental Design, dengan bentuk Posttest-Only Control Design. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan Sampling Total dengan jumlah 71 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel X pada handout persiapan pembuatan busana dan variabel Y pada hasil belajar siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket untuk validator ahli media dan ahli materi serta post tes pada siswa untuk mendapatkan nilai hasil belajar. Analisis uji yang digunakan uji statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas serta uji Mann-Whitney.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Tingkat kelayakan handout divalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Hasil validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi mendapatkan persentase rata-rata 82,35% dengan kriteria sangat layak. (2) Tingkat efektivitas media pembelajaran handout persiapan pembuatan busana dapat dirumuskan dari uji lanjut Mann-Whitney effect size menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan ukuran perbedaan tergolong pada level sedang ke besar dengan nilai (r = 0,491) sehingga penerapan handout efektif terhadap peningkatan nilai hasil belajar siswa.

The government's policy turning 2013 curriculum to independent curriculum (Merdeka curriculum) making vocational high school student required to be competent. This research aims to: (1) describe the level of eligibility of handout learning media on the elements preparation for making clothes and, (2) analyze the effectiveness of applying handout learning media on the elements preparation for making clothes for phase F at State Vocational High School 1 Jatirejo.

The type of research used in this study is quantitative research. Using True Experimental Design research methods, with the form of Posttest-Only Control Design. Research sample using Total Sampling of 71 students. This research uses variable X in the handout of preparation for making clothes and variable Y in student's learning outcomes. The data was collected using questionnaries for media expert and material expert validators and post test for the students to obtain learning outcome scores. The test analysis used descriptive statistical test, normality test, and Mann-Whitney test.

This research result indicates that: (1) The eligibility level being validated by media expert and material expert. The validation results by media expert and material expert obtained an average percentage of 82,35% which can be said to be very proper. (2) The effectiveness level of the learning media handout of preparation for making clothes can be formulated from the Mann-Whitney effect size further test which shows that the strength of the difference measure is classified as medium to large with a value (r = 0.491) so that the application of the handout is effective in increasing the value of student learning outcomes.
