The
teaching and learning process using animated media is an effort to improve
learning outcomes. The lack of use of learning media in subjects that are
difficult, boring, and dense in theory causes students to be noisy and do not
listen to explanations during teaching and learning activities. The use of
effective and efficient learning media has a role in helping teaching and
learning activities, in order to improve learning outcomes. The survey results
from relevant journals stated that the decline in student learning outcomes was
influenced by learning media. This study aims to analyze the use of animation
media on the learning outcomes of students in Modeling and Building Information
Design. The research method used is Meta-analysis, the research data used is
previous research obtained from Google Scholar, the online journal of JKPTB,
State University of Surabaya. The analysis used in this study is effect size,
from a sample of 7 (seven) research journals relevant to the use of animation
media on student learning outcomes of building modeling and information design.
The results showed that animated learning media was able to improve the
learning outcomes of DPIB students with the largest effect size results in Powerpoint
animation media, Drill and Practice learning models, and Engineering Mechanics
subjects
