PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN VIDEO TUTORIAL TATA RIAS WAJAH PANGGUNG BERBASIS SIBI DI KARYA MULIA SURABAYA
DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MEDIA FOR STAGE MAKEUP TUTORIAL VIDEO BASED ON SIBI AT KARYA MULIA SURABAYA
Video tutorial merupakan media pembelajaran inklusif yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa tunarungu karena mengakomodasi gaya belajar visual dan kemandirian dalam pengulangan materi. Namun, minimnya konten pembelajaran tata rias wajah panggung yang terintegrasi dengan Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia (SIBI) menjadi tantangan dalam pembelajaran vokasional di sekolah luar biasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan video tutorial berbasis SIBI untuk materi tata rias wajah panggung, (2) menganalisis kelayakan media, (3) mengukur efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar, dan (4) mengevaluasi respons pengguna.
Metode Research and Development (R&D) diaplikasikan dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), melibatkan 7 siswa tunarungu kelas XI-XII SMALB-B Karya Mulia Surabaya sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, angket validasi ahli (media, materi, dan bahasa), tes hasil belajar (pre-test dan post-test), serta angket respons siswa. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif untuk memverifikasi peningkatan hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian

menunjukkan: (1) Produk yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria instructional design berbasis visual, tekstual, dan Bahasa isyarat. (2) Validasi ahli menempatkan media pada kategori "Sangat Layak" dengan skor rata-rata 4,60 ahli media, 4,34 ahli materi, dan 4,29 ahli bahasa. (3) Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 44,26 (pre-test) ke 79,26 (post-test). (4) Respons siswa mencapai skor 4,35 (skala 5), mengindikasikan penerimaan positif terhadap aspek usability dan akomodasi kebutuhan belajar.
Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi SIBI dalam video tutorial tidak hanya meningkatkan aksesibilitas materi tetapi juga berimplikasi pada penguatan kompetensi vokasional siswa tunarungu. Disarankan agar guru merancang media pembelajaran berbasis kebutuhan sensorik siswa disertai pelatihan SIBI. Penelitian lanjutan perlu menguji model serupa pada konteks keterampilan vokasional lain dengan memperluas variabel seperti retensi belajar dan aspek psikomotorik.

Video tutorials serve as an inclusive learning medium that aligns with the characteristics of deaf students by accommodating their visual learning style and fostering independence through material repetition. However, the lack of stage makeup learning content integrated with the Indonesian Sign Language System (Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia or SIBI) poses a challenge in vocational education for special needs schools. This study aims to: (1) develop SIBI-based video tutorials for stage makeup material, (2) analyze the feasibility of the media, (3) measure its effectiveness in improving learning outcomes, and (4) evaluate user responses.
The Research and Development (R&D) method was applied using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), involving 7 deaf students in grades XI-XII at SMALB-B Karya Mulia Surabaya as research subjects. Data were collected through participatory observation, expert validation questionnaires (media, material, and language), learning outcome tests (pre-test and post-test), and student response questionnaires. Data analysis employed quantitative descriptive techniques to verify improvements in learning outcomes.
The findings indicate that: (1) The developed product meets the criteria for instructional design based on visual, textual, and sign language elements; (2) Expert validation categorized the media as

"Highly Feasible," with average scores of 4.60 (media expert), 4.34 (material expert), and 4.29 (language expert); (3) There was a significant improvement in learning outcomes, with the average score increasing from 44.26 (pre-test) to 79.26 (post-test). (4) Student responses achieved a score of 4.35 (on a 5-point scale), indicating positive acceptance of the media's usability and its accommodation of learning needs.
These findings demonstrate that integrating SIBI into video tutorials not only enhances material accessibility but also strengthens the vocational competencies of deaf students. It is recommended that teachers design learning media based on students' sensory needs, accompanied by SIBI training. Further research should test similar models in other vocational skill contexts, expanding variables such as learning retention and psychomotor aspects.
