Keterampilan vokasional siswa tunagrahita merupakan pembelajaran untuk memberikan bekal kemampuan yang sesuai dengan kemampuan siswa tunagrahita, Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh model direct intruction dan media video tutorial untuk meningkatkan keterampilan vokasional siswa tunagrahita di Loka Bina Karya di SLB-C AKW Kumara II Surabaya.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pra-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest dan uji yang digunakan adalah Wilcoxon. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan dokumentasi.
Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai rata-rata pre test 37,00 meningkat dan hasil post test 70,00. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan Zh 2.80 dan Zt 1.96, maka interprestasinya Ha > Ho. Jadi, Ha diterima, artinya terbukti bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Direct Intruction bermedia video tutorial di SLB AKW Kumara II Surabaya

The vocational skill of mentally retardation student was learning to give skill provision which was suitable with the ability of mentally retardation student. This research purpose was to test the influence of direct instruction model and tutorial video media to enhance the vocational skill of mentally retardation students in Loka Bina Karya of SLB-C AKW Kumara II Surabaya. This research used quantitative approach. This research used pre-experiment design and the research design was one group pretest – posttest and the test applied was Wilcoxon. The technique of data collection used test and documentation.
The result in this research indicated that the average value of pre-test was 37,00 enhancing and the result of post test was 70,00. The result of data analysis indicated that Zh was 2,80 and Zt was 1,96 so the interpretation was Ha > Ho. So, Ha was accepted it meant that there was influence of learning model of direct instruction with tutorial video media in SLB AKW Kumara II Surabaya.
