DEVELOPMENT OF "KIAL: KNOWING GROWTH AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH" LEARNING MEDIA BASED ON ANDROID REPRODUCTIVE EDUCATION MATERIALS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN
Pada kondisi pembelajaran daring menyebabkan belum adanya media khusus yang menarik dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pendidikan reproduksi tingkat VI Sekolah Dasar. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan media “KIAL;Knowing Growth and Reproductive Health” berbasis android yang layak (valid, praktis, dan efektif) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan atau R&D oleh Borg and Gall. Proses penelitian ini memiliki 7 tahapan dari 10 tahapan yang telah disederhanakan peneliti sesuai dengan kondisi pandemi, yaitu (1) potensi dan masalah; (2) pengumpulan data; (3) desain produk; (4) validasi desain produk; (5) revisi desain produk; (6) uji coba produk skala kecil dengan 8 siswa kelas VI; (7) dan revisi akhir. Jenis data penelitian yaitu kuantitatif dan kualitatif yang berasal dari hasil wawancara, lembar validasi ahli, lembar responden pengguna, dan lembar pretest-posttest. Media “KIAL;Knowing Growth and Reproductive Health”memperoleh tingkat kevalidan dengan kategori sangat valid sebesar 84% melalui uji validasi materi dan sebesar 89% melalui uji validasi media. Tingkat kepraktisan mencapai 92,5% dengan kategori sangat praktis untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Dan tingkat keefektifan sebesar 87,5% dan nilai rata-rata N-Gain 0,51 yang menyatakan bahwa media “KIAL;Knowing Growth and Reproductive Health” mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan kategori sedang.
In the conditions of online learning, there is no special media that is attractive and can improve student learning outcomes in reproductive education at grade VI Elementary School. The research objective was to develop an android-based “KIAL; Knowing Growth and Reproductive Health” media which is feasible (valid, practical, and effective) in improving student learning outcomes. This research includes development research or R&D by Borg and Gall. This research process has 7 stages out of 10 stages which have been simplified by researchers according to pandemic conditions, namely (1) potentials and problems; (2) data collection; (3) product design; (4) product design validation; (5) product design revision; (6) small-scale product trials with 8 grade VI students; (7) and final revision. The types of research data are quantitative and qualitative which come from the results of interviews, expert validation sheets, user respondent sheets, and pretest-posttest sheets. Media "KIAL; Knowing Growth and Reproductive Health" obtained a validity level with a very valid category of 84% through material validation tests and 89% through media validation tests. The practicality level reaches 92.5% with the very practical category to be used as a learning medium. And the level of effectiveness is 87.5% and an average N-Gain value of 0.51 which states that the media "KIAL; Knowing Growth and Reproductive Health" is able to improve student learning outcomes in the moderate category.
