Pendidikan merupakan hal penting untuk mengembangkan potensi pada diri seseorang, selain mendapatkan pendidikan informal di dalam lingkungan keluarga, seseorang juga mendapatkan pendidikan formal di sekolah.     Penguasaan bahan pelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru jika tidak didukung dengan penggunaan metode pembelajaran maka akan kurang maksimal dalam mentransfer ilmu kepada siswa, metode pembelajaran yang dapat dianggap sebagai suatu proses yang teratur untuk melakukan pembelajaran.

     Peneliti menerapkan metode pembelajaran demosntrasi pada mata pelajaran kearsipan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penyimpanan dan penemuan kembali arsip dengan subjek 20 siswa.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis Aktivitas siswa dan guru kelas di X OTKP 1 pada saat penerapan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi dan menganalisis Peningkatan kemampuan penyimpanan dan penemuan kembali arsip sistem subjek melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi pada mata pelajaran Kearsipan. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research). Penellitian dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus dan peneliti bertindak sebagai pengamat di dalam kelas.

     Dari kegiatan belajar mengajar yang telah dilaksanakan, maka dapat diliha peningkatan kemampuan penyimpanan dan penemuan kembali arsip menggunakan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi mulai siklus I hingga siklus III selalu mengalami peningkatan. Dimana pada siklus I hasil rata-rata pre test 49,25 pos test 55,75, siklus II hasil rata-rata pre test 63,5 pos tes 69,5 sedangakan pada siklus III hasil nilai rata-rata pre tes 78,75 dan pos tes 82.

      Education is an important thing to develop one's potential, besides getting informal education in a family environment, someone also gets formal education in school. Mastery of learning material conducted by the teacher if it is not supported by the use of learning methods will be less than the maximum in transferring knowledge to students, learning methods that can be considered as a regular process for learning.

     Researchers applied demosntrasi learning methods on archival subjects to improve the ability of storage and rediscovery of archives with the subject of 20 students.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the activities of students and class teachers at X OTKP 1 at the time of the application of demonstration learning methods and analyze the increase in the ability of storage and rediscovery of the subject system files through the application of demonstration learning methods to Archival subjects. This research is included in the type ofClassroom Action Research. The research was conducted in 3 cycles and the researcher acted as an observer in the classroom.

     From the teaching and learning activities that have been carried out, it can be increased the ability of storage and rediscovery of archives using demonstration learning methods starting from cycle I to cycle III always increasing. Where in the first cycle the results of the average pre test weretest 49.25 posts 55.75, the second cycle the results of the average pre testtest 63.5 posts 69.5 while in the third cycle the results of theaverage score were pre test 78.75 and test post 82.
