Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil observasi di SMK Negeri 1 Jatirejo, bahwa terdapat permasalahan diantaranya pelaksanaan pembelajaran masih berpusat kepada guru, proses pembelajaran masih dominan menggunakan media buku cetak, dan papan tulis pada saat pembelajaran siswa pasif. Karena hal tersebut hasil belajar siswa khususnya pada mata pelajaran instalasi motor listrik menjadi kurang maksimal (belum mencapai KKM). Dengan diterapkannya digital book interaktif diharapkan dapat memberi solusi pada guru untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan cara menghasilkan digital book interaktif yang layak. Kelayakan tersebut mengacu pada aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan.
Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan terdiri atas 7 langkah yaitu: (1) potensi dan masalah; (2) pengumpulan data; (3) desain produk; (4) validasi desain; (5) revisi produk (main product revision); (6) uji coba produk ; (7) analisis dan pelaporan (analysis and reporting). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI TITL 2 di SMK Negeri 1 Jatirejo. Pada penelitian ini rancangan uji coba yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan penelitian menujukkan bahwa tingkat kelayakan digital book interaktif ditinjau dari kevalidan dinyatakan sangat valid dengan hasil rating sebesar 88,75%, aspek kepraktisan yang ditinjau dari respon siswa dinyatakan sangat praktis dengan hasil rating sebesar 87,29%, aspek keefektifan ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa. Dari tes hasil belajar siswa didapatkan thitung = 13,964 > ttabel = 3,591 dengan signifikansi 0,000. Nilai rata-rata posttest 85,89 yang masuk kategori tuntas karena melampaui kereteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM). Sehingga digital book interaktif yang dikembangkan dikategorikan efektif.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa digital book interaktif layak digunakan sebagai salah satu bahan ajar serta media pembelajaran alternatif dalam proses pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa memperoleh hasil belajar siswa yang lebih baik pada mata pelajaran instalasi motor listrik. Sehingga digital book interaktif sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

This research is motivated by the results of observations at the Vocational High School 1 Jatirejo, that there are problems including the implementation of learning is still centered on the teacher, the learning process is still dominant using printed books and blackboards, students are passive when learning. Because of this student learning outcomes, especially in subjects electric motor installation to be less than the maximum (not yet reached the minimum completeness criteria). With the implementation of an interactive digital book, it is expected that the teacher can provide solutions to improve student learning outcomes. This research aims to improve student learning outcomes by producing a viable interactive digital book. Eligibility refers to aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness.
This research is a type of development research consisting of 7 steps, namely: (1) potential and problems; (2) data collection; (3) product design, (4) design validation; (5) main product revision; (6) product trials; (7) analysis and reporting. The subjects of the study were 9th grade students of TITL 2 at the Vocational High School 1 Jatirejo. In this study the trial design used was a one group pretest - post test design. The results of the study and research discussion showed that the feasibility level of interactive digital books in terms of validity was declared to be very valid with a rating of 88.75%, the practical aspects which were reviewed from the students' responses were declared very practical with a rating of 87.29%, the effectiveness aspect was evaluated from student learning outcomes. From the test of student learning outcomes obtained t count = 13.964 > t table = 3.591 with a significance of 0.000. The average post test score was 85.89 which was categorized as complete because it exceeded the minimum completeness criteria (minimum completeness criteria). So that the interactive digital book developed is considered effective.
Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that interactive digital books are appropriate to be used as one of the teaching materials and alternative learning media in the learning process that can help students obtain better student learning outcomes on subjects of electric motor installation. So that interactive digital books are very feasible to use in learning.
