Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh Problem based learning dalam lingkungan flipped classroom dan motivasi belajar terhadap kemandirian belajar dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah pada mata pelajaran Fiqih Kelas VII di MTsN 1 Jombang.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen kuasi dengan desain nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 258 anak dan diambil sampel 128 anak yang terbagi kelompok eksperimen berjumlah 64 dan kelompok kontrol berjumlah 64. Kelompok eksperimen menerapkan pembelajaran problem based learning dalam lingkungan flipped classroom dan kelompok kontrol menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Teknik analisis data dibantu SPSS dan Microsoft Excel, uji normalitas menggunakan Kolmogorov-Spirnov, uji homogenitas dengan Levene Statistic, dan uji hipotesis dengan uji MANOVA.

Hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa problem based learning dalam lingkungan flipped classroom berpengaruh terhadap kemandirian belajar, terdapat problem based learning dalam lingkungan flipped classroom berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan pemecahan masalah peserta didik, terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap kemandirian belajar, terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap keterampilan pemecahan masalah, terdapat interaksi problem based learning dalam lingkungan flipped classroom dan motivasi belajar terhadap kemandirian belajar, terdapat interaksi problem based learning dalam lingkungan flipped classroom dan motivasi belajar terhadap keterampilan pemecahan masalah.

Dapat disimpulkan problem based learning dalam lingkungan flipped classroom dan motivasi belajar berpengaruh dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional terhadap kemandirian belajar dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah pada mata pelajaran Fiqih kelas VII di MTsN 1 Jombang.

The study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning in a flipped classroom environment and learning motivation on learning independence and problem solving skills in Fiqh Class VII subjects at MTsN 1 Jombang.

The research method used is quantitative method with quasi experimental research type with nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects were 258 children and a sample of 128 children was taken, divided into experimental groups totalling 64 and control groups totalling 64. The experimental group applied problem-based learning in a flipped classroom environment and the control group applied conventional learning. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques assisted by SPSS and Microsoft Excel, normality test using Kolmogorov-Spirnov, homogeneity test with Levene Statistic, and hypothesis testing with MANOVA test.

The results showed that problem based learning in a flipped classroom environment has an effect on learning independence, problem based learning in a flipped classroom environment has an effect on students' problem solving skills, there is an effect of learning motivation on learning independence, there is an effect of learning  motivation on problem solving skills, there is an interaction of problem based learning in a flipped classroom environment andlearning motivation on learning independence, there is an interaction of problem based learning in a flipped classroom environment and learning motivation on problem solving skills.

It can be concluded that problem-based learning in a flipped classroom environment and learning motivation has an effect compared to conventional learning and learning motivation on learning independence and problem solving skills in Fiqh class VII at MTsN 1 Jombang
