ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan peserta didik terhadap keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jerman.Pada mata pelajaran bahasa Jerman, peserta didik tentu diharapkan memiliki keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jerman yang baik dengan penguasaan kosa kata dan penyusunan struktur kalimat yang tepat sehingga dapat mengungkapkan ide, gagasan serta perasaan secara lisan sebagai proses komunikasi terhadap orang lain. Metode Two Stay Two Stray diterapkan dalam penelitian ini sebagai metode pembelajaran alternatif untuk keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jerman. Metode ini sangat baik diterapkan pada pembelajaran karena dapat mengurangi rasa bosan peserta didik serta tidak hanya mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif tetapi juga melatih peserta didik untuk bertanggungjawab. Penelitian ini diterapkan pada peserta didik kelas XI IPA 1 semester 1 di SMAN 12 Surabaya dengan tema Familie. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi pokok pembahasan adalah: bagaimana respon peserta didik terhadap metode Two Stay Two Stray pada pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jerman kelas XI semester 1 SMAN 12 Surabaya. Adapun data penelitian ini yaitu berupa angket dan tes sebagai pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa respon peserta didik  terhadap stimulus yang diberikan dalam keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jerman dengan metode Two Stay  Two Stray berjalan sesuai langkah-langkah yang berada dalam metode tersebut. Hal itu dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya rata-rata nilai peserta didik setelah diterapkan metode TSTS. Dengan melihat hasil angket peserta didik dapat disimpulkan bahwa respon peserta didik dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara bahasa Jerman dengan metode TSTS adalah dapat diterapkan di kelas tersebut. Hal itu dibuktikan dengan didapatkannya hasil tes ke-1 dengan rata-rata 61, pertemuan ke-2 dengan rata-rata 88,5 dan pertemuan ke-3 dengan nilai rata-rata 97 serta hasil angket dengan rata-rata 66,9%.

ABSTRACT

This research is motivated by the difficulties of students in speaking German skills. In German subjects, students are expected to have good German speaking skills with vocabulary mastery and appropriate sentence structure preparation so that they can express ideas, ideas and feelings verbally as a process of communication with others. The Two Stay Two Stray method was applied in this study as an alternative learning method for German speaking skills. This method is very well applied to learning because it can reduce students' boredom and not only develop cognitive abilities but also train students to be responsible. This study was applied to students of class XI IPA 1 semester 1 at SMAN 12 Surabaya with the theme Familie. In this study, the main topic of discussion is: how do students respond to the Two Stay Two Stray method in learning German speaking skills in class XI in semester 1 of SMAN 12 Surabaya. The data of this study are in the form of questionnaires and tests as supporters. The results of the study showed that the response of students to the stimulus given in German speaking skills with the Two Stay Two Stray method went according to the steps in the method. This is evidenced by the increase in the average value of students after the TSTS method is applied. By looking at the results of the student questionnaire it can be concluded that the response of students in learning German speaking skills with the TSTS method is applicable in that class. This is evidenced by obtaining the results of the first test with an average of 61, the second meeting with an average of 88.5 and the third meeting with an average value of 97 and the results of the questionnaire with an average of 66.9%.
