Management of Educational Facilities and Infrastructure in Supporting the Quality of Learning at the Indonesian School in Riyadh
Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari pentingnya manajemen sarana dan prasarana pendidikan dalam memberikan dukungan pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Sekolah Indonesia Riyadh yang berada di Arab Saudi memiliki peran untuk menyediakan fasilitas pendidikan yang memadai bagi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen sarana dan prasarana pendidikan dalam menunjang kualitas pembelajaran di Sekolah Indonesia Riyadh. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan mendeskripsikan proses manajemen sarana dan prasarana di Sekolah Indonesia Riyadh. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumen. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik kondensasi, display, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data dijamin melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses perencanaan kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana dilakukan dengan melibatkan berbagai pihak melalui usulan dari bawah ke atas. Pendanaan berasal dari anggaran Dana DIPA Atdikbud dan dukungan Dana Komite Sekolah yang menciptakan sinergi antara sumber dana pemerintah dan nonpemerintah. Implementasi dilakukan melalui pengadaan sarana dan prasarana secara langsung dengan melibatkan berbagai pihak sekolah. Inventarisasi masih dilakukan secara manual serta pemberian label pada aset sesuai sumber pendanaannya. Sistem penyimpanan yang terorganisir dan proses penyaluran yang efisien mendukung kelancaran pembelajaran. Pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana dilakukan secara rutin melibatkan partisipasi seluruh warga sekolah. Proses evaluasi dilakukan melalui prosedur penghapusan aset dan pelaporan yang transparan. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan meskipun terdapat beberapa keterbatasan, seperti pencatatan manual dan minimnya digitalisasi, manajemen sarana dan prasarana pendidikan di Sekolah Indonesia Riyadh sudah dilakukan dengan efektif dan akuntabel, serta mendukung proses pembelajaran yang berkualitas.
The background of this study is based on the importance of managing educational facilities and infrastructure in providing quality learning support. The Indonesian School in Riyadh, located in Saudi Arabia, plays a role in providing adequate educational facilities for students. This study aims to analyze the management of educational facilities and infrastructure in supporting the quality of learning at the Indonesian School in Riyadh. The researcher employs a descriptive qualitative approach by describing the management process of facilities and infrastructure at the Indonesian School in Riyadh. Data for this research were obtained through observations, interviews, and documents. The collected data were analyzed using techniques of condensation, display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity is ensured through source and method triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the planning process for facility and infrastructure needs involves various parties through bottom-up proposals. Funding comes from the DIPA Budget of the Education and Cultural Attaché and support from the School Committee Fund, creating synergy between government and non-government funding sources. Implementation is carried out through direct procurement of facilities and infrastructure involving various school parties. Inventory is still conducted manually, and labeling of assets is done according to their funding sources. An organized storage system and efficient distribution processes support smooth learning. Maintenance of facilities and infrastructure is carried out regularly with the participation of the entire school community. Evaluation processes are conducted through asset disposal procedures and transparent reporting. The conclusion of this study shows that despite some limitations, such as manual recording and minimal digitization, the management of educational facilities and infrastructure at the Indonesian School in Riyadh has been effectively and accountably implemented, supporting a quality learning process.
