ABSTRAK

EDUTING (EDUKASI STUNTING) DENGAN MEDIA VIDEO UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP IBU BALITA DI DESA NGEPUNG KABUPATEN NGANJUK

Stunting adalah gangguan tumbuh kembang pada anak yang disebabkan karena kurangnya asupan gizi dan penyakit infeksi. Akar permasalahan stunting adalah ekonomi yang rendah, kurangnya pendidikan dan pengetahuan ibu. Tingkat pengetahuan akan mempengaruhi sikap dan perilaku ibu untuk mengasuh dan memenuhi kebutuhan gizi balitanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Eduting melalui video untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu balita dan pengaruh Eduting melalui video untuk mengubah sikap ibu balita di Desa Ngepung Kabupaten Nganjuk.

Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode quasy eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Jumlah responden sebanyak 73 ibu balita di Desa Ngepung. Pengumpulan data menggunakan isntrumen berupa tes pengetahuan dan angket sikap. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan Mann Whiteney. Pada kelompok eksperimen perlakuan yang diberikan berupa pemberian Eduting dengan media video, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu Eduting dengan media leaflet.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Eduting dengan media video terhadap pengetahuan ibu balita di Desa Ngepung. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai p 0,000 (nilai p < 0,05).  Selain itu, juga terdapat pengaruh Eduting dengan media video terhadap sikap ibu balita di Desa Ngepung. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai p 0,000 (nilai p < 0,05).

EDUTING (STUNTING EDUCATION) WITH VIDEO MEDIA TO INCREASE KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDES MOTHERS OF CHILDREN UNDER FIVE IN NGEPUNG VILLAGE OF NGANJUK REGENCY

Stunting is a developmental disorder in children caused by a lack of nutrition and infectious diseases. The main problem of stunting is low economy, lack of education and knowledge of the mother. The level of knowledge will influence the attitudes and behavior of mothers to care for and meet the nutritional needs of their toddlers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of educating through videos to increase knowledge of mothers under five and  effect of educating through videos to change the attitudes of mothers under five in Ngepung Village, Nganjuk Regency.

This research is included in the quantitative research using the quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. Total of respondents was 73 mothers of toddlers in Ngepung Village. Data collection uses instruments in the form of knowledge tests and attitude questionnaires. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test and Mann Whiteney Test. In the experimental group the treatment was given in the form of Eduting with video media, while in the control group the treatment was given in the form of Eduting with leaflet media.

The results showed that there was an effect of educating with video media on the knowledge of toddler mothers in Ngepung Village. This is evidenced by the p value of 0.000 (p value <0.05). In addition, there is also the influence of Eduting with video media on the attitudes of toddler mothers in Ngepung Village. This is evidenced by the p value of 0.000 (p value <0.05).
