This study aims
to develop infographic media as a learning tool that can improve
motivation and learning
outcomes of class X
students of SMAN 1 Gondang, Bojonegoro, in Economics subject with the topic of
scarcity. The research used the research and development method with the ADDIE
model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The
development process begins with a needs analysis through interviews and
questionnaires to teachers and students, followed by designing infographic
media based on learning needs. Media development involves validation by
material and media experts, limited trials, implementation, and evaluation of
effectiveness.
The
results showed that the infographic media developed met the criteria
of valid, practical, and effective. Media and
material expert validation obtained a score of 88% (very valid), teaching
module expert validation obtained 90% (very valid), learning motivation
questionnaire instrument validation of 90% (very valid), question instrument
validation of 92% (very valid), and
practicality questionnaire validation of 93% which is in the very valid / feasible category.
Limited trials showed that this media was easy to use and understood by students. At the implementation
stage in the classroom, infographic media succeeded
in increasing student motivation, as evidenced by an increase in the motivation
questionnaire score of 86% compared to 78% before the use of the media. In
addition, student learning outcomes also improved significantly, with the
average post test score (85) higher than the pre test (74), showing an increase
of 11 points.
