AFIKS DERIVATIF PADA CERPEN “RUMAH ANGKER” KARYA VIRGINIA WOOLF: KAJIAN MORFOLOGIS

Bahasa berperan sebagai alat untuk menyampaikan suatu ide, pikiran, dan keinginan kepada orang lain. Dalam berbahasa sangat lekat dengan pemaknaan. ketika morfem derivasi dilekatkan pada suatu kata dasar, maka akan mengakibatkan penambahan makna. Teori yang digunakan ialah proses afiks derivatif dalam pembentukan makna, jenis-jenis afiks derivatif, dan fungsi afiks derivatif dalam pembentukan kata. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi proses afiks derivatif dalam pembentukan makna, mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis afiks derivatif, dan mendeskripsikan afiks derivatif sebagai pembentuk kata yang terdapat pada cerpen “Rumah Angker” karya Virginia Woolf. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah  metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data diambil dari kata-kata pada cerpen “Rumah Angker”.  Berdasarkan  hasil penelitian terdapat 39 kata  yang termasuk ke dalam afiks derivatif. Dari 39 kata tersebut terdapat 27 prefiks, 2 sufiks, dan 10 konfiks. Terdapat dua jenis derivasi, yaitu derivasi transposisi dan derivasi fungsi. Derivasi transposisi terdiri atas 26 data dan derivasi fungsi terdiri atas 13 data. Sementara itu, fungsi afiks derivatif dalam pembentukan kata, terdapat pembentukan kata verba, nomina, dan adverbia. Dan yang mendominasi adalah pembentukan kata verba.

Language serves as a tool to convey ideas, thoughts, and desires to others. In bebrlanguage is very attached to the use. When morphem derivation is attached to a root word, it will result in the addition of meaning. The teory used is the process of derivative affixes in the formation of meanings, types of derivative affixes, and functions of derivative affixes in the formation of words. The purpose of this research is to identify the process of derivative affixes in the formation of meanings, describe the types of derivative affixes, and describe the derivative affixes as the shapers of the word contained in the short story “Haunted House” by Virginia Woolf. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method. Data taken from the words on the short story “Haunted House. Based on the results of the study there are 39 words include in the derivative affixes. Of the 39 words there are 27  prefixes, 2 suffixes, and 10 confest. There are two types of derivations, namely function derivation and transposition derivation. Transposition derivation consist of 26 data and function derivation consist of 13 data. Meanwhile, the function of derivative affixes in word formation, there is the formation of verbs, nouns, and adverbs. And what dominates is the formation of verbs.
