Improving Children Ability To Recognize Red and Yellow Colors Through Drawing Activities At the Garuda PAUD Center Bangkingan City
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan anak mengenal warna merah dan kuning melalui kegiatan meronce. Mengenal warna merah dan kuning dapat menstimulasi perhatian anak, sehingga cocok digunakan saat pembelajaran serta membantu anak untuk mengklasifikasikan dan mengelompokkan objek berdasarkan warna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian anak usia 3-4 tahun. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pos PAUD Garuda Kelurahan Bangkingan. Teknik pengambilan data dengan melakukan observasi, dokumentasi dan hasil karya anak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Siklus I meningkatkan 50% anak mampu mengenal warna merah dan kuning, sebelum penelitian dilaksanakan hanya 30% anak mengenal warna merah dan kuning. Dari hasil siklus pertama yang belum sesuai target maka melanjutkan siklus kedua, di siklus kedua menggunakan bahan meronce yang berbeda menghindari anak agar tidak bosan. Siklus kedua mencapai 80% anak mampu mengenal warna merah dan kuning. Kegiatan meronce sangat efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal warna dengan didukung bahan meronce yang berkualitas dan beragam
This study aims to improve chidrens ability to recognize red and yellow through stringing activities. Recognizing red and yellow can stimulate childrens attention, so it is suitable for use during learning and helps children to classify and group objects based on color. The research (CAR). The subjects of the study were children aged 3-4 years. This study was conducted at the Garuda PAUD Post, Bangkingan Vilage. Data collection techniques were by conducting observations, documentation and childrens work. Data analysis techniques used qualitative descriptive. The first cycle increased 50% of children were able to recognize red and yellow before the study was conducted, only 30% of children recognized red and yellow. From the results of the first cycle that had not met the target, the second cycle was continued, in the second cycle using different stringing materials to prevent children from getting bored. In the second cycle, almost 80% of children were able to recognize red and yellow. Stringing activities are very effective for improving the ability to recognize colors supported by quality and diverse stringing materials.
