Konflik interpersonal sering terjadi dalam interaksi sosial pada siswa. Konflik dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif apabila tidak segera diselesaikan. Oleh karena itu, siswa perlu memiliki kemampuan untuk mengatasi konflik interpersonal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengatasi konflik interpersonal pada siswa. Penelitian ini berjenis pre-experimental design dengan metode one group pre-test post-test design. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah delapan siswa kelas VIII yang memiliki kemampuan mengatasi konflik interpersonal yang rendah. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket kemampuan mengatasi konflik interpersonal. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Wilcoxon. Hasil dari pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan perbedaan hasil sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan dimana Asymp. Sig lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,012 < 0,05) sehingga H₀ ditolak. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bimbingan kelompok teknik diskusi kelompok dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengatasi konflik interpersonal siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 7 Tulungagung.

        Interpersonal conflict often occurs in student’s social interactions. Conflicts can have negative impact if they are not immediately resolved. Therefore, students need to have the ability to overcome interpersonal conflict. This study aims to improve the ability to overcome interpersonal conflict in students. This study is a pre-experimental type design with one group pre-test post-test design method. The subjects in this study were eight students of 8^th grade who had low ability to overcome interpersonal conflict. The instrument of data collection used in this study was the questionnaire of the ability to overcome interpersonal conflict. Methods of data analysis using Wilcoxon statistical tests. The results of hypothesis testing show differences in results before and after treatment where Asymp. Sig is smaller than 0,05 (0,012 < 0,05) so the H₀ is rejected. The results of this study are group guidance discussion technique can improve the ability to overcome interpersonal conflicts in 8^th grade students at MTs Negeri 7 Tulungagung
