This research is a research development of media book "Aisatsu Benkyoushimashou" as a Japanese greeting vocabulary learning media at UNESA Labschool Elementary School and Insan Cendekia Mandiri Middle School.
The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of learning media "Aisatsu Benkyoushimashou" and determine students' responses to the media "Aisatsu Benkyoushimashou". This research is based on the results of student questionnaires which show the students difficulties in learning new vocabulary.
The method used in the "Aisatsu Benkyoushimashou" media development research was the R&D method from Sugiyono. The trial used of the media "Aisatsu Benkyoushimashou" was tested on 14 elementarystudents.
The results of the "Aisatsu Benkyoushimahou" media development research were as follows:
1. The feasibility of the media can be seen from the results of the validation of the material From media experts. From the results of the media validation, the feasibility of the media "Aisatsu Benkyoushimashou" was very good with a score of 89%. from the results of the material validation, the material in the media was very good with a value of 80%.
2. Student responses to the development of the media "Aisatsu Benkyoushimashou" can be seen from the results of the student response questionnaire. based on the analysis of student questionnaire responses, elementary student responses.
From the results of the validator's assessment and the results of the student response questionnaire, the media "Aisatsu Benkyoushimashou" Was suitable as a medium for greeting vocabulary learning for elementary schools.
