KESADARAN DAN KETIDAKSADARAN TOKOH  PADA NOVEL CERMIN TAK PERNAH BERTERIAK, KARYA IDA R. YULIA: KAJIAN PSIKOLOGI CARL GUSTAV JUNG

THE CONSCIOUSNESS AND UNCONSCIOUSNESS OF THE CHARACTERS IN THE MIRROR NOVEL NEVER Screams, BY IDA R. YULIA: CARL GUSTAV JUNG'S PSYCHOLOGICAL STUDY

Abstrak

Penelitian ini menggunakan novel Cermin Tak Pernah Berteriak karya Ida R. Yulia sebagai sumber data penelitian. Hal yang menarik dari novel tersebut adalah selain termasuk novel remaja, dalam novel tersebut ditemukan fenomena kesadaran dan ketidaksadaran pada dua tokohnya, Ega dan Baskoro. Atas fenomena yang terjadi, novel tersebut dianalisis menggunakan teori psikologi analitis Carl Gustav Jung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk kesadaran tokoh dalam novel Cermin Tak Pernah Berteriak karya Ida R. Yulia, (2) mendeskripsikan bentuk ketidaksadaran tokoh dalam novel Cermin Tak Pernah Berteriak karya Ida R. Yulia, (3) mendeskripsikan bentuk ketidaksadaran kolektif dalam novel Cermin Tak Pernah Berteriak karya Ida R. Yulia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan psikologis. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah novel Cermin Tak Pernah Berteriak karya Ida R. Yulia. Data penelitian berupa informasi tentang kesadaran dan ketidaksadaran pada tokoh Ega dan Baskoro yang diperoleh dari dialog, perbuatan, dan narasi yang didapat dari novel Cermin Tak Pernah Berteriak karya Ida R. Yulia. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentatif, teknik baca, dan catat serta mengelompokkan data berupa kesadaran (ego dan sikap jiwa) serta ketidaksadaran (personal dan kolektif). Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif serta menghubungkan dengan teori kesadaran dan ketidaksadaran Jung. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) kesadaran pada tokoh Ega dan Baskoro berupa ego dan sikap jiwa (ekstrovert dan intorvert); (2) ketidaksadaran personal pada tokoh Ega dan Baskoro; (3) ketidaksadaran kolektif berupa pesona, anima, dan shadow.

Abstract

This research uses the novel Mirror Tak Never Berteriak by Ida R. Yulia as a source of research data. The interesting thing about this novel is that apart from being a youth novel, it also finds the phenomenon of awareness and unconsciousness in two of its characters, Ega and Baskoro. For the phenomena that occur, the novel is analyzed using the analytical psychology theory of Carl Gustav Jung. The aims of this study are (1) to describe the form of character awareness in the novel Cermin Tak Never Berteriak by Ida R. Yulia, (2) to describe the unconscious form of the character in the novel Cermin Tak Never Berteriak by Ida R. Yulia, (3) to describe the form of collective unconsciousness in the novel Mirror Never Yelled by Ida R. Yulia. This study uses a qualitative research method with a psychological approach. The source of the data in this research is the novel Cermin Never Berteriak by Ida R. Yulia. The research data is in the form of information about the awareness and unconsciousness of the characters Ega and Baskoro which is obtained from the dialogues, actions, and narrations obtained from the novel Mirror Tak Never Berteriak by Ida R. Yulia. The data collection technique used a documentary method, reading, and note-taking techniques as well as grouping the data in the form of awareness (ego and mental attitude) and unconsciousness (personal and collective). The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and connected with Jung's theory of consciousness and unconsciousness. The results of this study are as follows: (1) awareness of the characters Ega and Baskoro in the form of ego and mental attitude (extrovert and introvert); (2) personal unconsciousness of the characters Ega and Baskoro; (3) collective unconscious in the form of charm, anima, and shadow.
