Penerapan Stilasi Ragam Hias Songket Palembang pada Outer Busana Pengantin Muslim 

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses penerapan dan hasil jadi penerapan stilasi ragam hias songket Palembang pada outer busana pengantin Muslim. Metode yang digunakan adalah Double Diamond Model (Ledbury, 2017) yang terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu  discover, define, develope, deliver. Pada tahap discover, penulis memulai penelitian dengan menentukan sumber ide dari cerita rakyat Legenda Pulau Kemaro dari Palembang. Dalam tahap define,  menentukan desain busana pengantin Muslim yang akan diwujudkan dan menentukan kriteria desain, model FEA (function, aesthetic, expressive). Tahap berikutnya membuat prototipe hiasan, dan penerapan hiasan berupa stilasi ragam hias motif songket Palembang dengan teknik bordir dan payet pada outer busana pengantin Muslim. Hasil jadi penerapan stilasi ragam hias songket Palembang pada busana Pengantin Muslim, di analisis secara deskriptif menggunakan model FEA.  Fungsi dari busana yang diciptakan adalah busana pengantin untuk wanita Muslim yang akan melangsungkan pernikahan. Salah satu fungsi outer adalah menyamarkan lekuk tubuh sehingga sesuai dengan syarat busana Pengantin Muslim. Busana pengantin yang dibuat, diberikan hiasan agar nilai estetikanya bertambah. Penerapan ragam hias geometris pada kerah outer, dan dan penerapan ragam hias flora pada tepi outer (kelim dan tengah muka). Secara ekspresi, hasil jadi busana pengantin ini merupakan hasil akulturasi dan pengaruh dari budaya China, Palembang dan Islam. 

The research objective was to determine the process of application and the final result of the application of Palembang songket stylization on the outer Muslim wedding dress. The method used is the Double Diamond Model (Ledbury, 2017) which consists of 4 stages, namely discovery, define, develop, and deliver. At the discovery stage, the author begins the research by determining the source of the idea from the folklore Legend of Kemaro Island from Palembang. In the determining stage, determining the Muslim wedding dress design that will be determined and determining the design criteria, the FEA model (function, aesthetics, expressiveness). The next stage is making a decoration prototype, and the application is in the form of stylizing Palembang songket motifs with embroidery and sequin techniques on the outer Muslim wedding dress. The result of the application of Palembang songket decorative stylization on Muslim bridal clothing, was analyzed descriptively using the FEA model. The function of the clothing created is bridal clothing for Muslim women who will get married. One of the outer functions is to dress the curves of the body so that it is in accordance with the requirements of Muslim bridal clothing. Bridal clothes are made, given decorations so that the aesthetic value increases. The application of geometric decorations on the outer's collar, and the application of floral decorations on the outer's edges (hem and center of the face). Expressively, the result of this wedding dress is the result of acculturation and influence from Chinese, Palembang and Islamic cultures.
