PENGARUH CAREER SUCCESS TERHADAP CAREER CRAFTING DENGAN LEARNING VALUE OF THE JOB SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERASI
THE EFFECT OF CAREER SUCCESS TO CAREER CRAFTING: THE MODERATING ROLE OF LEARNING VALUE OF THE JOB
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh career success terhadap career crafting dengan learning value of the job sebagai variabel moderasi pada karyawan BTN Kantor Cabang Kediri. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh dengan jumlah 77 karyawan. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dengan bantuan software WarpPLS 8.0.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa objective career success tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap career crafting, subjective career success berpengaruh positif terhadap career crafting, peran moderasi learning value of the job memperlemah objective career success terhadap career crafting, peran learning value of the job tidak memoderasi subjective career success terhadap career crafting.
Implikasi dari temuan ini yang dapat diterapkan pada Bank Tabungan Negara Kantor Cabang Kediri adalah perusahaan harus lebih memerhatikan dan bertindak secara berkelanjutan terhadap keberhasilan karier yang dirasakan, baik secara objektif maupun subjektif, serta learning value dari pekerjaan karyawannya untuk menumbuhkan perilaku karier proaktif mereka.
This study aims to test and analyze the effect of career success on career crafting with the learning value of the job as a moderating variable for BTN Kediri Branch Office employees. The approach used in this study was quantitative. A survey was conducted among a sample of 77 employees. The data in this study were analyzed using the structural equation model partial least squares (SEM-PLS) with the help of WarpPLS 8.0.
The results show that objective career success has no effect on career crafting, subjective career success has a significant positive effect on career crafting, the moderating role of the learning value of the job weakens objective career success on career crafting, and the role of the learning value of the job does not moderate subjective career success towards career crafting.
The implication of these findings that can be applied to the BTN Kediri is that companies should paying more attention and act to the sustainability on the perceived career success, both objective and subjective, also learning value of the job of their employee to foster their proactivity career behaviors.
