The Effect Of Academic Supervision On The Effectiveness Of Online learning During The Pandemic At SMA Negeri City West Surabaya
Belum meredanya wabah covid 19 mengakibatkan sistem pembelajaran daring masih terus dilakukan. Hal ini justru menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi pendidik dan peserta didik dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran. Ketidakefektifan yang dirasakan justru menimbulkan masalah baru yaitu menurunnya kualitas pendidikan dan minat belajar siswa. Supervisi akademik merupakan serangkaian kegiatan membantu guru dalam mengembangkan kemampuannya mengelola proses pembelajaran sesuai capaian tujuan pembelajaran. Penerapan supervisi akademik dalan pembelajaran daring menjadi upaya dalam menangani kesulitan yang dihadapi guru untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh supervisi akademik terhadap keefektifan pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi di SMA Negeri se kota Surabaya Barat. Populasi ini meliputi seluruh guru aktif di SMA Negeri se kota Surabaya Barat dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan teknik pengambilan sample simple random sampling sejumlah 132 guru.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, nilai thitung variabel supervisi akademik (X) terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran daring (Y) sebesar 6,153. Nilai thitung diketahui lebih besar dari nilai ttabel yaitu sebesar 1.97 dengan nilai signifikan yang diperoleh 0,00 dengan nilai signifikan < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan supervisi akademik berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel efektivitas pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi di SMA Negeri se Kota Surabaya Barat. Supervisi akademik (X) berkontribusi terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran daring (Y) sebesar 0,226 atau 22,6%. Oleh karena itu, supervisi akademik menjadi salah satu faktor berpengaruh terhadap keefektifan pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi saat ini.
The absence of the covid 19 outbreak has resulted in an online learning system being carried out. This actually becomes a challenge in itself for educators and students in carrying out the learning process. The perceived ineffectiveness actually creates new problems, namely the decline in the quality of education and student interest in learning. Academic supervision is a series of activities to assist teachers in developing their ability to manage the learning process according to the achievement of learning objectives. The application of academic supervision in online learning is an effort to deal with difficulties faced by teachers to improve the learning process.
This research aims to determine the effect of academic supervision on the effectiveness of online learning during the pandemic in public high schools in West Surabaya. This population includes all active teachers in State Senior High Schools in West Surabaya by using quantitative methods and simple random sampling of 132 teachers.
Based on the results of the data analysis, the value of academic supervision variable thitung (X) to the effectiveness of online learning (Y) amounted to 6,153. Thitung value is known to be greater than the value of 1.97 with a significant value obtained by 0.00 with a significant value of < 0.05, so it can be concluded that academic supervision significantly affects the variable effectiveness of online learning during the pandemic at SMA Negeri in West Surabaya. Academic supervision (X) contributed to the effectiveness of online learning (Y) of 0.226 or 22.6%. Therefore, academic supervision is one of the factors affecting the effectiveness of online learning during the current pandemic.
