PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN POP-UP BOOK UNTUK SISWA SMP SUNAN GIRI GRESIK
Belum adanya penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran seni budaya di SMP Sunan Giri Gresik, khususnya pada materi menggambar flora dan fauna menjadi latar belakang dilakukannya pengembangan media pembelajaran menggunakan pop-up book. Pengembangan media pembelajaran menggambar flora dan fauna dilakukan agar pembelajaran bisa lebih efektif. Pembuatan media pop-up book diawali dari proses pembuatan desain atau layout materi hingga ke tahap pencetakan. Setelah selesai dicetak, pop-up book diuji cobakan kepada siswa kelas VII di SMP Sunan Giri Gresik. Pengembangan media pembelajaran berbentuk pop-up book dipilih agar peserta didik bisa mempelajari tahapan dalam menggambar flora maupun fauna secara mandiri. Pop-up book dipilih karena ketika dibuka bisa menunjukkan kesan tiga dimensi sehingga bisa merangsang kreativitas peserta didik. Selain itu, ilustrasi di dalam buku bisa membantu peserta didik dalam memahami materi yang dibahas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (R&D) atau metode pengembangan milik Sugiono (2010). Berdasarkan hasil Uji coba kelas besar pada 15 peserta didik, diperoleh skor rata- rata sebanyak 24,53 dengan prosentase 81,7% dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa media po-up book dinyatakan dengan indikator sangat layak.

The absence of the use of media in learning art and culture at Sunan Giri Junior High School, especially in the material for drawing flora and fauna is the background for developing learning media using pop- up books. The development of learning media for drawing flora and fauna is carried out so that learning can be more effective. Making pop-up book media starts from the process of making the design or layout of the material to the printing stage. After being printed, the pop-up book was tested on seventh grade students at SMP Sunan Giri Gresik. The development of learning media in the form of a pop-up book was chosen so that students could learn the stages in drawing flora and fauna independently. The pop- up book was chosen because when it is opened it can show a three-dimensional impression so that it can stimulate the creativity of students. In addition, the illustrations in the book can help students understand the material discussed. This study uses the research and development (R&D) method or the development method of Sugiono (2010). Based on the results of the large class trial on 15 students, an average score of 24.53 was obtained with a percentage of 81.7% and it can be concluded that the pop- up book media is stated with a very feasible indicator.
