THE INFLUENCE OF SOCIAL SUPPORT, SELF COMPASSION, AND SOCIAL SKILLS ON THE ACADEMIC RESILIENCE AMONG 10th GRADE STUDENTS OF STATE HIGH SCHOOL IN LAMONGAN REGENCY

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan sosial, self compassion, dan keterampilan sosial terhadap resiliensi akademik siswa kelas X SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Lamongan. Resiliensi akademik merupakan kemapuan siswa untuk bertahan, beradaptasi, dan bangkit kembali dari kesulitan dalam proses pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto menggunakan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X dari tiga SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Lamongan yaitu SMA Negeri 1 Sukodadi, SMA Negeri 1 Lamongan, dan SMA Negeri 1 Kedungpring dengan jumlah sampel 304 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) dukungan sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap resiliensi akademik siswa; (2) self compassion berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap resiliensi akademik siswa; (3) keterampilan sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap resiliensi akademik siswa; serta (4) secara simultan ketiga variabel tersebut memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap resiliensi akademik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi dukungan sosial, self compassion, dan keterampilan sosial yang dimiliki siswa, maka semakin tinggi pula resiliensi akademik mereka.

This study aims to determine the influence of social support, self compassion, and social skills on the academic resilience among 10th grade students of state high school in Lamongan Regency. Academic resilience is a student's ability to survive, adapt, and bounce back from difficulties in the learning process. This type of research is quantitative with an ex post facto design using a correlational approach. The population of this study was all 10th grade students from three state high school in Lamongan Regency, namely SMA Negeri 1 Sukodadi, SMA Negeri 1 Lamongan, and SMA Negeri 1 Kedungpring with a sample of 304 students selected using simple random sampling techniques. The research instrument used a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS 26 program. The results of the study showed that (1) social support has a positive and significant effect on students' academic resilience; (2) self compassion has a positive and significant effect on students' academic resilience; (3) social skills have a positive and significant effect on students' academic resilience; and (4) simultaneously, these three variables have a significant effect on academic resilience. These findings indicate that the higher the social support, self compassion, and social skills that students have, the higher their academic resilience.
