Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Maospati yang meliputi 1) Mengetahui pengaruh antara kompetensi pedagogik guru (X1) dengan motivasi belajar siswa (Y) di SMP Negeri 1 Maospati, 2) Mengetahui pengaruh antara kompetensi profesional guru (X2) dengan motivasi belajar siswa (Y) di SMP Negeri 1 Maospati, 3) Mengetahui pengaruh antara kompetensi pedagogik (X1) dan profesional guru (X2) terhadap motivasi belajar siswa (Y) di SMP Negeri 1 Maospati, dan 4) Mengetahui perbandingan antara aspek kompetensi pedagogik (X1) dan profesional guru (X2) terhadap motivasi belajar siswa (Y) di SMP Negeri 1 Maospati.
Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Penelitian ini lebih fokus pada kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional guru terhadap motivasi belajar mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Ex-post Facto, yaitu melakukan penelitian pada suatu peristiwa yang sudah terjadi guna mengetahui beberapa faktor yang menetapkan sebab-sebab kemungkinan terjadi pada kejadian yang telah dikaji. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah berupa angket, dan angket yang digunakan adalah angket terstruktur. Angket disebar dan dikumpulkan melalui google form.
Berdasarkan uji t, diketahui bahwa nilai thitung untuk variabel Kemampuan Pedagogik maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya ada pengaruh positif yang signifikan Kemampuan Pedagogik terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMP Negeri 1 Maospati. Berdasarkan uji t, diketahui bahwa nilai thitung untuk variabel Kemampuan profesional maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya ada pengaruh positif yang signifikan Kemampuan profesional guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMP Negeri 1 Maospati. Berdasarkan uji F, diketahui bahwa nilai Fhitung untuk variabel Kemampuan Pedagogik dan Kemampuan profesional guru maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga ada pengaruh signifikan secara simultan antara Kemampuan Pedagogik dan Kemampuan profesional guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMP Negeri 1 Maospati.

This research aims to determine the influence of teacher pedagogical and professional competence on student learning motivation at SMP Negeri 1 Maospati which includes 1) Knowing the influence between teacher pedagogical competence (X1) and student learning motivation (Y) at SMP Negeri 1 Maospati, 2) Knowing the influence between teacher professional competence (X2) and student learning motivation (Y) at SMP Negeri 1 Maospati, 3) Knowing the influence between pedagogical competence (X1) and professional teacher (X2) on student learning motivation (Y) at SMP Negeri 1 Maospati, and 4) Knowing the comparison between aspects of pedagogical competence (X1) and teacher professionalism (X2) on student learning motivation (Y) at SMP Negeri 1 Maospati.
The approach used in this research is quantitative. This research focuses more on teachers' pedagogical and professional competencies regarding their learning motivation. This research uses the Ex-post Facto method, namely conducting research on an event that has already occurred in order to determine several factors that determine the possible causes of the event that has been studied. The data collection technique in this research is in the form of a questionnaire, and the questionnaire used is a structured questionnaire. The questionnaire was distributed and collected via Google Form.
Based on the t test, it is known that the t value for the Pedagogical Ability variable is Ho rejected and Ha accepted, meaning that there is a significant positive influence of Pedagogical Ability on the learning motivation of students at SMP Negeri 1 Maospati. Based on the t test, it is known that the t value for the professional ability variable means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant positive influence on teacher professional ability on students' learning motivation at SMP Negeri 1 Maospati. Based on the F test, it is known that the calculated F value for the Pedagogical Ability and Teacher Professional Ability variables means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so that there is a significant simultaneous influence between Pedagogical Ability and teacher professional ability on the learning motivation of students at SMP Negeri 1 Maospati.
