ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dan mendiskripsikan manajemen pembelajaran dengan kendali mutu lesson study di Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Proses lesson study digunakan dalam kendali mutu pembelajaran karena lesson study digunakan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatan mutu pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris dan untuk membina para dosen dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas mengajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan melakukan pengamatan langsung atau observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil wawancara serta dokumentasi yang dilakukan pada tahap perencanaan lesson study serta teknik penilaian yang benar. Para dosen dapat memperoleh manfaat dari lesson study yakni berupa; Membantu dosen untuk mengobservasi dan mengkritisi pembelajarannya, Meningkatkan kolaborasi pada sesama dosen, merencanakan pembelajaran secara kolaboratif. Pendidik profesional dan ilmuwan dengan tugas utama mentransformasikan dan mengembangkan serta menyebarluaskan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan seni melalui pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian pada masyarakat. Untuk memperkuat tugas utama, seorang dosen juga dituntut melakukan aktivitas di bidang pendidikan atau kegiatan lain yang mendukung pada upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat, seperti; pelatihan, seminar, symposium, workshop, bimtek, kepanitiaan kegiatan-kegiatan ilmiah, dan sebagainya agar menjadikan tenaga pendidik yang optimal dalam menjalankan tugas dan kewajiban sebagai dosen yang professional. Sehingga dapat meningkatkan peran serta dosen dalam mendidik mahasiswa.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze and describe learning management based on lesson for quality control in English Education Study Program. The lesson study process is used in learning quality control because lesson study is used as an effort to improve the quality of English language learning and to foster lecturers in order to improve the quality of teaching. This research is a qualitative descriptive study by making direct observations or observations, interviews and documentation. From the results of interviews and documentation carried out at the lesson study planning stage, it was found that there were several obstacles faced by model lecturers when teaching Speaking courses are including not only confidently teaching students, lack of experience, monotonous use of methods and media, but also inappropriate assessment techniques. In addition, the observer / senior lecturer has suggestions for improvements in the form of selecting methods that vary according to the topic, the use of innovative media, and assessments that focus on process evaluation. At the implementation stage, it was found that the model lecturer had carried out learning in accordance with the plan agreed upon previously with the observer lecturer. But related to the implementation in the classroom, there are still some weaknesses that must be corrected, such as the use of media and learning technology, as well as the ability to explain the material during the lecture session. As the next stage, namely the stage of reflection, the implementation of feed backs results in improvements to the planning and implementation of the next stage, such as the use of e-learning as an additional medium in discussing the tasks given to students and adjusting how to explain the material by inserting question and answer while explaining the material.
