Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hambatan anak spektrum autis dalam toileting khususnya dalam buang air kecil yang disebabkan hambatan komunikasi, interaksi sosial dan perilaku. Tujuan Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membuktikan pengaruh metode pivotal response treatment berbantuan picture-cued terhadap kemampuan toileting anak spektrum autis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian single subject research dan rancangan penelitian A1-B-A2. Subjek penelitian merupakan anak perempuan dengan spektrum autis usia 5 ahun di TK Puri Mutiara Bunda Sidoarjo. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi. Data yang diperoleh diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif yang disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik garis. Komponen yang dianalisis yaitu analisis dalam kondisi dan analisis antar kondisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pivotal response treatment berbantuan picture-cued efektif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan toileting anak spektrum autis. Hal tersebut dapat ditujukkan dari hasil fase baseline 1 dibandingkan dengan fase baseline 2, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan toileting subjek setelah diberikan intervensi.

This research was set background by the problem child with autism spectrum disorder in toileting skills especially in urination caused by barriers to communication, social interaction and behavior. The purpose of this study was to prove the influence of the pivotal response treatment method assisted by picture-cued on the toileting ability of autistic spectrum children. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of single subject research and research design A1-B-A2. This subject of this research was a female children with autis spektrum disorder aged 5 years at TK Puri Mutiara Bunda Sidoarjo. The data was obtained through observation. The obtained data was processed and analysed by descriptive statistic in the form table and line graphic. The analysed components were in-condition analysis and inter-condition. The results of the study showed that the picture-cued pivotal response treatment method was effective against the toileting ability of autistic spectrum children. This can be seen in the measurement results of baseline phase 2 compared with the results of baseline measurement 1. There was a significant increase in the toileting ability of the subjects after being given an intervention compared to before being given intervention.
