ABSTRACT
The background of this
research is based on the issue of low student interest and motivation, as well
as suboptimal learning outcomes in cultural material learning, specifically
regarding traditional houses. The lack of engaging and interactive learning
media is one of the contributing factors to the low quality of learning. To
address this issue, this study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of
interactive multimedia learning media using web (html) to enhance students'
motivation and learning outcomes on traditional houses material. This
innovative learning media is designed to address these problems. The study
employs the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of Analysis,
Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. In the analysis stage,
learning needs are identified through curriculum analysis, student
characteristics, and teacher needs. The design stage involves the creation of
interactive multimedia media that integrates concept visualization with interactivity
using web (html).
The prototype media
was developed, followed by expert validation and revisions based on the
feedback received. The implementation of the learning media was tested in two
classes, namely an experimental class and a control class, involving
fourth-grade students at MI AT TAUFIQ. Data were collected through learning
motivation questionnaires, learning outcome tests, observation sheets, and
interviews with teachers and students. Data analysis used descriptive and
inferential methods to assess changes in students' motivation and learning
outcomes before and after the implementation of the learning media.
The results of the
study are expected to show that the use of web (html)-based interactive
multimedia learning media can enhance students' learning motivation, as
indicated by increased interest, engagement, and satisfaction in the learning
process. Furthermore, students' learning outcomes are expected to improve
significantly, covering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. This
research provides practical contributions in the form of learning media that
can be used by teachers to improve the quality of learning on traditional
houses material. Theoretically, this research reinforces the understanding of
the effectiveness of interactive multimedia in the educational context and its
implications for students' motivation and learning outcomes.
