Pengaruh Edukasi Gizi dengan Video Animasi terhadap Pengetahuan dan Sikap Ibu Balita di Desa Bangkok Kecamatan Glagah Kabupaten Lamongan
Masalah gizi pada Balita menjadi isu serius di berbagai negara, termasuk Indonesia dengan prevalensi gangguan tumbuh kembang 28,7% (WHO, 2018). Pemantauan pertumbuhan melalui penimbangan balita di Posyandu penting untuk mencegah permasalahan gizi. Tingkat pencapaian pertambahan berat badan Balita di Desa Bangkok tergolong rendah, sehingga diperlukan edukasi gizi dengan media yang menarik, seperti video animasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi pengaruh media video animasi terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap ibu balita tentang meningkatkan berat badan anak.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 40 ibu balita dan dibagi kedalam dua kelompok. Kelompok kontrol diberi intervensi dengan ceramah saja dan kelompok eksperimen diberi inetrvensi dengan ceramah dan media video animasi. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa tes pengetahuan dan angket sikap yang dikerjakan sebelum intervensi dan setelah inetrvensi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji statistik paired sample t-test, uji Wilcoxon, dan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan sebesar 10 poin pada aspek pengetahuan dan 11,2 poin pada aspek sikap.
Oleh karena itu, disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan perubahan sikap ibu balita setelah diberi intervensi eduakasi gizi pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video animasi dalam edukasi gizi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap ibu balita di Desa Bangkok, dibuktikan dengan perolehan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 pada uji hipotesis. Video animasi dapat membantu menyajikan materi yang sulit melalui stimulus audio visual, yang pada akhirnya dapat menghasilkan pencapaian yang lebih baik.

Nutrition problems in toddlers are a serious issue in many countries, including Indonesia with a prevalence of growth and development disorders of 28.7% (WHO, 2018). Monitoring growth through weighing toddlers at Posyandu is important to prevent nutritional problems. The level of achievement of toddler weight gain in Bangkok Village is low, so nutrition education is needed with attractive media, such as animated videos. This study aims to analyze the effect of animated video media on the knowledge and attitudes of mothers of toddlers about increasing children's weight.
This type of research is a quasi experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample size was 40 mothers of toddlers and divided into two groups. The control group was given intervention with lectures only and the experimental group was given intervention with lectures and animated video media. This research instrument is a knowledge test and attitude questionnaire that is done before the intervention and after the intervention. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-test, Wilcoxon test, and Mann-Whitney test. The results showed that the average pretest and posttest scores of the experimental group increased by 10 points in the knowledge aspect and 11.2 points in the attitude aspect.
Therefore, it was concluded that there was an increase in knowledge and changes in the attitude of mothers under five after being given a nutrition education intervention in the control group and the experimental group. The study also showed that the use of animated videos in nutrition education had a significant effect on v the knowledge and attitudes of mothers under five in Bangkok Village, as evidenced by the acquisition of a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 in the hypothesis test. Animated videos can help present difficult material through audio-visual stimulus, which in turn can lead to better achievement.
