This
development research aims to overcome the learning problems that exist in class
X Multimedia students at SMKN 1 Sooko Mojokerto. Limited teaching materials and
learning media become obstacles for students in independent learning. The
purpose of this development is to determine the feasibility and effectiveness
of multimedia tutorials to improve the learning outcomes of class X Multimedia
students at SMKN 1 Sooko Mojokerto. The development of multimedia tutorials is
based on needs analysis, namely the characteristics of the material, the
characteristics of the students and the supporting environment for the media.
Multimedia tutorial specifications consist of learning media in the form of
mobile apps tutorials and accompanying materials.
The development model used in this development is the ADDIE
model with the test subject being the X Multimedia class students at SMKN 1
Sooko Mojokerto. The development of this media was validated by 1 material
expert, 1 learning design expert and 1 media expert. Product trials on: (1)
individual trials of 3 students, (2) small group trials of 9 persons, and (3)
large group trials of 20 persons.
In data collection techniques, researchers used interviews,
questionnaires, and practical tests (pre-test and post-test). In processing the
data, the researcher used SPSS version 29.0 to calculate the normality test,
homogeneity test and t-test (t-test). Based on the feasibility validation
results, the results obtained were 87% from learning design experts, 93% from
material experts, 94% from media experts, 93% from individual trials, 94% from
small group trials and 92% from large group trials. From the results of the
percentage is qualified to have a very good category. Then from the results of
the post-test t-test for the control class and the post-test for the
experimental class, the results were 0.00 <0.05. Thus the results of the
pre-test and post-test experienced a significant difference. Thus, it can be
concluded that the Development of Multimedia Tutorials for Vector Image
Manipulation Material Basic Graphic Design Subjects for Class X Multimedia at
SMKN 1 Sooko Mojokerto is declared effective in learning because it can improve
learning outcomes.
