Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil observasi di SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo, bahwa terdapat permasalahan antara lain pelaksanaan pembelajaran masih menggunakan metode konvensional, guru masih menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung, pada saat pembelajaran siswa sangat pasif dikarenakan kurangnya bahan ajar yang interaktif, sehingga hasil belajar siswa kurang optimal. Dengan diterapkannya bahan ajar berupa e-book interaktif diharapkan dapat memberi solusi pada guru untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar interaktif yang layak. Kelayakan tersebut mengacu pada aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan.
Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan terdiri ata 7 langkah yaitu: (1) Penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, (2) Perencanaan, (3) Pengembangan Awal Produk, (4) Pengujian Awal, (5) Revisi Produk Utama, (6) Uji Produk Secara Luas, (7) Analisis dan Laporan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas TITL 1 di SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo. Pada penelitian ini rancangan uji coba yang digunakan adalah one grup pretest-posttest design.
Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa bahan ajar e-book interaktif sangat layak digunakan ditinjau dari aspek kevalidan dinyatakan sangat valid dengan hasil rating sebesar 92,50%, aspek kepraktisan yang didasarkan dari respon siswa dinyatakan sangat praktis dengan hasil rating sebesar 84,75%, aspek keefektifan ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa. Didasarkan pada hasil belajar siswa didapatkan thitung = 11,085 > ttabel = 3,591 dengan signifikansi 0,000, dengan nilai rerata 84,13 . sehingga bahan ajar e-book interaktif yang dikembangkan dikategorikan efektif.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-book interaktif sangat layak digunakan sebagai salah satu bahan ajar alternatif dalam proses pembelajaran dan dapat memperoleh hasil belajar siswa yang optimal pada mata pelajaran instalasi motor listrik.

This research wasconducted because the results of observations at SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo, showed that there were problems related to the implementation of the learning process which still used conventional methods, it means that teachers still used direct learning models, when student learning was very passive due to the lack of interactive teaching materials, so that the students’ learning outcomes are less than optimal. The implementation of the teaching materials in the form of interactive e-books, was expected that canbe the solutions to the teachers in order to improvethe students’ learning outcomes. This study aims to produce appropriate interactive teaching materials. The eligibility refers to aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness.
Moreover,this research was a developmental research which consisted of 7 steps, namely: (1) Research and information collection, (2) Planning, (3) Initial Development of Products, (4) Preliminary Testing, (5) Main Product Revision (6) Main Product Testing, (7) Analysis and Reporting. The subjects of this study were the students of TITL 1 at SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo. This study wasexperimental designwhich used the a one grup pretest-posttest design.
The results of this study showed that the feasibility level of interactive e-book teaching materials on the validity aspect stated to be very valid with 92.50%, the practicality aspect in terms of student responses was declared very practical with 84.75%, while the effectiveness aspect which was reviewed from the student learning outcomes.regarding to the test of the students’ learning outcomes obtained tcount = 11.085> ttable = 3.591 with a significance 0,000, and the mean posttest value of 84.13. So, the interactive e-book teaching materials developed are categorized effective to be.
Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the interactive e-book was feasible to be used as an alternative teaching material on the learning process and can get the optimal students’ learning outcomes on subjects of electric motor installation. Thus, interactive e-book teaching materials are suitable to use during the learning process.
