KOLABORASI ORANG TUA DENGAN SEKOLAH MELALUI PROGRAM PARENTING EDUCATION DI SD MUHAMMADIYAH 6 SURABAYA
COLLABORATION BETWEEN PARENTS AND SCHOOLS THROUGH THE PARENTING EDUCATION PROGRAM AT MUHAMMADIYAH 6 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SURABAYA
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi objektif pelaksanaan program parenting education, pengetahuan dari orang tua siswa terkait dengan program parenting education, bentuk pelaksanaan program parenting education, dan kolaborasi orang tua dengan sekolah melalui program parenting education di SD Muhammadiyah 6 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi Alfred Schutz. Metode penelitian ini dipilih karena berfokus pada pemahaman secara mendalam terkait dengan fenomena yang terjadi dalam proses kolaborasi antara orang tua dengan sekolah. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program parenting education yang ada di SD Muhammadiyah 6 Surabaya merupakan bagian dari program kerja dari sekolah yang bertujuan untuk menjembatani komunikasi antara sekolah dengan orang tua. Pengetahuan dari orang tua terkait dengan program parenting sudah dipahami oleh orang tua dan diterapkan secara langsung dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka, khususnya pada pola pengasuhan anak di rumah. Bentuk pelaksanaan program parenting education berupa kegiatan seminar parenting dan terdapat sesi tanya jawab beserta diskusi bersama. Selanjutnya kolaborasi orang tua dengan sekolah melalui program parenting education berjalan dengan baik. Kolaborasi antara keduanya terbentuk melalui hubungan yang bersifat komunikatif dan partisipatif. Hubungan ini memberikan dampak positif pada perkembangan anak baik di rumah maupun di sekolah. Orang tua dengan sekolah menjalin kerja sama dalam proses pendidikan anak dan juga pembentukan karakter anak baik di lingkungan rumah maupun di lingkungan sekolah.

This study aims to determine the objective conditions of the implementation of the parenting education program, the knowledge of students parents regarding the parenting education program, the form of implementation of the parenting education program, and the collaboration between parents and the school through the parenting education program at Muhammadiyah 6 Elementary School, Surabaya. This study uses a qualitative research type with Alfred Schutz's phenomenological approach. This research method was chosen because it focuses on an in-depth understanding of the phenomena that occur in the collaborative process between parents and the school. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the parenting education program at Muhammadiyah 6 Elementary School, Surabaya is part of the school's work program that aims to bridge communication between the school and parents. Parents' knowledge related to the parenting program has been understood by parents and directly applied in their daily lives, especially in childcare patterns at home. The implementation of the parenting education program takes the form of parenting seminars and includes question and answer sessions and joint discussions. Furthermore, the collaboration between parents and the school through the parenting education program runs well. Collaboration between the two is formed through a communicative and participatory relationship. This relationship has a positive impact on children's development both at home and at school. Parents and schools collaborate in the process of educating children and also in the formation of children's character both at home and at school.
