BOOK DESIGN OF TRADITIONAL FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY CULINARY IN SURABAYA
Kuliner tradisional khas Surabaya adalah salah satu warisan makanan tradisional yang harus dijaga kelestarianya. Di era modern seperti sekarang banyak yang belum mengenal bahkan lupa dengan keberadaan dari kuliner tradisional khas Surabaya ini karena semakin berkembangnya kuliner modern sehingga membuat eksistensi dari kuliner tradisional khas Surabaya sulit ditemui Dengan itu peneliti memperkenalkan kuliner Surabaya dengan menggunakan food photography dan di layout dalam buku. Kuliner surabaya yang diambil dalam perancangan ini yaitu semanggi, sate karak, lontong balap, petulo, klanting. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan melakukan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi, kuesioner, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pembuatan buku food photography yang dilayout, berisikan foto kuliner tradisional khas Surabaya dan informasi tentang kuliner khas Surabaya.
Surabaya's traditional cuisine is one of the traditional food heritages that must be preserved. In the modern era like now, many do not know and even forget the existence of this traditional Surabaya culinary because of the growing development of modern cuisine, making the existence of traditional Surabaya culinary difficult to find. With that, the researcher introduced Surabaya culinary by using food photography and layout in the book. The Surabaya cuisines taken in this design are clover, sate karak, lontong racing, petulo, and clanting. The research method used in this design is qualitative by collecting data through observation, documentation, questionnaires, and literature studies. The results of this research are making a food photography book which is laid out, containing photos of traditional Surabaya culinary and information about Surabaya's culinary specialties.
