PENGARUH TINGKAT PENDIDIKAN DAN PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI TERHADAP KEMISKINAN di JAWA TIMUR

THE EFFECT OF EDUCATION LEVEL AND ECONOMIC GROWTH ON POVERTY IN EAST JAVA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis pengaruh tingkat pendidikan terhadap kemiskinan di jawa timur, (2) menganalisis pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi terhadap kemiskinan di jawa timur, (3) menganalisis pengaruh tingkat pendidikan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi terhadap kemiskinan di jawa timur.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Adapun sampel yang digunakan dalam peneliti yaitu 38 kabupaten/kota. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi data panel dengan bantuan program e-views. Sedangkan pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji chow, uji hausman, statistik uji t dan statistik uji f.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Tingkat pendidikan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemiskinan di Jawa Timur, (2) Pertumbuhan ekonomi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemiskinan di Jawa Timur, (3) Tingkat pendidikan dan peertumbuhan ekonomi secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemiskinan di Jawa Timur.

This study aims to (1) analyze the effect of education level on poverty in East Java, (2) analyze the effect of economic growth on poverty in East Java, (3) analyze the effect of education level and economic growth on poverty in East Java.

This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample used in the researcher is 38 districts / cities. The data analysis technique used panel data regression analysis with the help of the e-views program. Meanwhile, hypothesis testing is done by using the Chow test, the Hausman test, the t test statistic and the f test statistic.

The results showed that (1) The level of education has no significant effect on poverty in East Java, (2) Economic growth has a significant effect on poverty in East Java, (3) The level of education and economic growth together have a significant effect on poverty in Java East
