coastal communities in Puger Kulon. This is because coastal communities have
their own way of looking at the sea which has given them a fortune so that a
ritual emerges. The ritual carried out is a form of gratitude that is

to be held regularly every year and continue to preserve it through making a
sea picking tradition tour at Pancer Beach Puger.
The results of this study explain that Petik

that occurred were the replacement of traditional prayers with Islamic prayers,
besides that the offerings they used were very different from the time of their
ancestors, this eliminates the impression of sacredness in the sea picking
ceremony in Puger Kulon Village. However, with this desacralization, it can
have a good impact on the lives of the Puger Kulon people and the culture that
is owned is better known by other people in Puger Kulon and causes social
interaction in the community to be well established.
