Rational Emotive Behavior Technique To Reduce The Tendency Of K-Pop Fanaticism Behavior In Students Of Integrated Islamic High School
Fanatisme Korean-Pop (K-Pop) di kalangan remaja menimbulkan dampak yang negatif terutama pada siswa yang tinggal di asrama berbasis Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas Teknik Rational Emotive Behavior dalam mengurangi kecenderungan perilaku fanatisme K-Pop melalui layanan konseling kelompok. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimen one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 6 siswa yang dipilih berdasarkan rekomendasi wali asrama dan guru BK serta memiliki skor fanatisme tinggi sesuai hasil pre-test. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket fanatisme K-Pop yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas serta observasi perilaku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh subjek mengalami peneurunan skor fanatisme dari kategori tinggi menjadi kategori sedang setelah mengikuti 6 sesi konseling dengan Teknik Rational Emotive Behavior. Selain perubahan skor, para subjek juga menunjukkan perubahan perilaku di kehidupan nyata seperti adanya peningkatan hafalan Al-Qur’an, aktif dalam kegiatan keagamaan asrama, mematuhi peraturan asrama, serta mampu mengelola emosi dan hubungan sosial dengan teman di asrama menjadi lebih baik. Teknik Rational Emotive Behavior dalam konseling kelompokterbukti efektif dalam memberikan bantuan pada siswa untuk mengurangi perilaku fanatisme K-Pop dengan mengubah keyakinan irasional menjadi rasional. Teknik Rational Emotive Behavior dapat dijadikan sebagai strategi layanan bimbingan dan konseling sekolah di lingkungan sekolah berbasis Islam.

Korean-Pop (K-Pop) fanaticism among teenagers has a negative impact, especially on students who live in Islamic-based dormitories. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Rational Emotive Behavior Technique in reducing the behavioral tendencies of K-Pop fanaticism through group counseling services. This research approach is quantitative with one group pretest-posttest pre-experienced design. The research subjects were 6 students who were selected based on the recommendation of the dormitory guardian and counseling teacher and had high fanaticism scores according to the pret-test results. The result showed that all subjects experienced a decrease in fanaticism scores from the high categories to the medium category after attending 6 counseling sessions with Rational Emotive Behavior Technique. In addition to changes scores, the subject also showed changes in real life behavior such as an increase in memorizing the Qur’an, being active in dormitory religious activities, complying with dormitory rules, and being able to manage emotions and social relationships with friends in the dormitory for the better. The Rational Emotive Behavior Technique in group counseling has proven effective in providing assitstance to students to reduce K-Pop fanaticism behavior by changing irrational beliefs to rational ones. The Rational Emotive Behavior Technique can be used as a strategy for school guidance and counseling services in an Islamic-based school environment.
