PENGARUH MEDIA TRAVO ( TRAY VOKAL) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL HURUF VOKAL
ANAK USIA 4-5 TAHUN
THE INFLUENCE OF TRAVO MEDIA (VOCAL TRAY) ON THE ABILITY TO RECOGNIZE VOCAL LETTERS IN CHILDREN AGED 4-5 YEARS
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal anak, serta kurangnya media yang kurang interaktif dan inovatif menyebabkan anak kurang berminat dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ada atau tidaknya pengaruh media Travo (tray vokal) anak usia 4-5 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dan desain yang digunakan quasi eksperimen dengan jenis non-equivalent control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok A TK Islam Sultan Agung Kabupaten Lamongan yang berjumlah 24 anak. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Independent Sampel t-Test yang pertama dilakukan adalah untuk membandingkan hasil posttest eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Dasar pengembilan keputusan uji Independent Sampel t-Test yaitu membandingkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 maka Ha diterima Ho ditolak. Begitupun sebaliknya, jika nilai Sig. (2-tailed) > 0.05 maka Ha ditolak Ho diterima. Berdasarkan perolehan data dari hasil uji Independent Sampel t-Test dapat disimpulkan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) yaitu 0.001 < 0.05 maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Artinya ada pengaruh media Travo (tray vokal) terhadap kemampuan mengenal huruf vokal anak usia 4-5 tahun. Hal menarik dalam mengenalkan huruf vokal melalui media Travo (tray vokal) adalah anak sangat antusia dan bahan media jarang dipakai untuk membuat media. This research is motivated by the lack of ability to recognize children's vowel letters, as well as the lack of media that is less interactive and innovative causing children to be less interested in learning. This study aims to analyze whether or not there is influence of the Travo media (vocal tray) for children aged 4-5 years. The research method used is quantitative and the design used is quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. Data collection techniques using observation techniques. The sample in this study was the children of group A at Sultan Agung Islamic Kindergarten, Lamongan Regency, totaling 24 children. The collected data were analyzed using the Independent Sample t-test. The first test was carried out to compare the posttest results of the experiment and the control group. The basis for making decisions on the Independent Sample t-Test is to compare the Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 then Ha is accepted Ho is rejected. Vice versa, if the value of Sig. (2-tailed) > 0.05 then Ha is rejected Ho is accepted. Based on the data obtained from the results of the Independent Sample t-Test, it can be concluded that the significance value (2-tailed) is 0.001 <0.05, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that there is an influence of Travo media (vocal tray) on the ability to recognize vowels of children aged 4-5 years. The interesting thing about introducing vowels through Travo media (vocal tray) is that children are very enthusiastic and media materials are rarely used to make media.
