The Impact of Utilization Video Media on the Material of the Great World Revolution on the Learning Outcomes of History Students in Grade XI of SMAN 2 Sidoarjo
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan media video materi revolusi besar dunia terhadap hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran sejarah kelas XI SMAN 2 Sidoarjo. Populasi siswa kelas XI SMAN 2 Sidoarjo berjumlah 263 siswa. Sampel tidak diambil secara acak, kelas yang ditentukan menjadi sampel penelitian berjumlah 65 siswa. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes yakni pemahaman siswa terhadap materi revolusi besar dunia. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa kelompok eksperimen dengan mean 82.17 dan kelompok kontrol dengan mean 65.23. Analisis yang diterapkan yakni uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji independent sample t-test. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan program SPSS 25.0 disimpulkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Karena Sig. (2- tailed) < 0,05, dengan demikian H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dalam pemanfaatan media video materi revolusi besar dunia terhadap hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran kelas XI SMAN 2 Sidoarjo

This study aims to determine the impact of utilizing video learning media on the material of the Industrial Revolution and its influence on Indonesia on the learning outcomes of history students in Grade XI of SMAN 2 Sidoarjo. The population of students in Grade XI of SMAN 2 Sidoarjo is 263 students. The sample was not taken randomly, the classes determined to be the research subjects were class XI-2 with 30 students and class XI-6 with 35 students. The method applied in this research is the experimental method. The instrument in this research uses tests, namely students' understanding of the material of the Industrial Revolution and its influence on Indonesia. Based on the research results, there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of students in the experimental group with a mean of 82.17 and the control group with a mean of 65.23. The analysis applied is the normality test, homogeneity test, and independent sample t-test. Based on the results of the hypothesis test analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 program, it can be concluded that the significance value is 0.000 < 0.05. Because Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05, therefore Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence in the utilization of video learning media on the material of the Industrial Revolution and its influence on Indonesia on the learning outcomes of history students in Grade XI of SMAN 2 Sidoarjo.
